BBQ Sunday: Beef Wellington
Beef Wellington is a fancy dish where puff pastry is wrapped around beef tenderloin, prosciutto and duxelles, baked then sliced into portions to serve. I never had it and never went to a place that served it. But recently I kept seeing videos of people making it and now I want it. I wonder if @Des Dreckett and @Eliot Payne ever had it. Anyway, tomorrow we will announce the first Roaster of Week of June. The winner will have a pinned post ad at the very top for a whole week and also earn a pinterest post that I'll submit to Pinterest Games for extra reach. Here are the current scores. Today is the last day to change it. Remember that roasting the post that is currently pinned counts double points! 🏆1st @Dave Hughes: 170 points - Dave is at the top of the game while helping creators transform their communities with Skool Reset & Rebuild. 🥈 2nd @Gus Gray: 99 points - Gus gives great roasts and will also roast your CV at Career Skool! 🥉 3rd @Chrissy Hogue Bartels: 95 points - Chris is helping leaders build purpose-driven online businesses through The Prosperity Ascent Lab

@Dave Hughes but the image makes them pause and read. The description tips the scale.

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster It's not hard to make, just very hard to get the cook right. Medium rear... 🤤

Roast my news show
https://www.skool.com/roast-promote-5332/the-grill-street-journal-052726 I plan to do this daily. I had a lot of fun doing that, but I fear it being too complicated and too silly for most people. Anyway it's just one post a day, so people can ignore it if they don't like it. The intention is to fit all of the things going on inside my community and the ones from my VIP members, as well as giving the daily scores for the competition and stats without cluttering up your notification feed. I don't want to make it bland. I was talking with @Aimee Jardon about the balance between making a clear and objective copy to the point of sounding too corporate / boring and having too much fun to the point of sounding childish, overcomplicated and unprofessional. I decided to have fun all the way, but I hope this post is still informative and not too tiring to read. I'll also be changing the name of the show and the presenters often just because I want to have fun with the possible puns. What do you think?

I like it a lot. I've been in quiet a few business skools and I prefer the ones that are creative and informative. I love this. Everything in one post not 5 and it was fun to read. Love the newscaster names. I say go with it. Don't be a stick in the mud like other skools are. 💯👍👏
Roast my current about page and description
https://www.skool.com/roast-promote-5332/about I really like how this community is growing, how much fun I'm getting, how engaged it is and the fact that I got almost 20 members paying. All in just 3 months. It's a success in my eyes! But one thing is bothering me. Conversion Rate is 8%. A lot of people are looking at it, and are not joining. I see a lot of people saying they know me from being around everywhere on Skool but won't join. I know that getting roasted is not for everyone and some people are too serious for my silly branding. So it's not for everyone. But conversion being so low means I could be growing faster. So burn me with your hottest roasts!

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster Okay, this is my initial thoughts after a quick looksy. Well, your first sentence has a grammatical error. This is what it should be. “Most self-promotion spaces have one problem: People post and ditch.” In the second paragraph the word Beginner is incorrectly spelled. The second sentence under number 3) should say “You are introduced to a group with similar interests when you join.” I’d put the paragraph starting with “Beginner solopreneurs…” after the paragraph starting “here you submit…” more straight to the point. I kinda feel like your video is too long as well. I got through a minute and a half and turned it off. Be more to the point. People don’t want a long video. That's it. Hope it helps. 🙂
