@Chris Legaspi Thanks so much! I look forward to participating in life drawing sessions, seeing my figurative drawings improve and then applying what I have learned to my sequential art. As a sequential artist I have developed the habit of building my figures using a constructive method, from the inside out, based on the Loomis approach. This approach serves me well and solves the majority of my immediate staging issues. But I am seeking to really nail the anatomical shorthand typically associated with mastery. The work of Hal Foster comes to mind when I contemplate the highest peak my own figurative work could achieve. Excelsior! :-)

@Chris Legaspi Hahaha. Yes I agree, it takes stamina. I would get out and attend a local life drawing class if I could, but it is not possible at present. As you can likely relate to, quality instructed figure drawing is hard to find. So although I have accumulated considerable life drawing experience, it has typically required me to teach myself and learn by trial and error. In summary, it was always confusing, frustrating and although rewarding, improvement was slow. So although I do appreciate the constitution and discipline required for regular figure drawing, this has never been matched by the level of instruction and instructor feedback in my own experience But now I can benefit from improving in direct relation to your personal West Coat inspired curriculum, which I find genuinely exciting. Although I I have experiences in Entertainment Design, Visual Effects and Concept Art, my natural approach is slower and more deliberate. I am excited to dive into your approach to the figure and begin comparing it in detail to other methodolgies I am aware of. And I am genuinely looking forward to developing a methodology for transposing my figure drawing insights developed in your classes onto the pages of my comics. Another exciting adventure. :-)
