Hello Insiders! 👋🏽
My name is Darec and I am originally from Germany, now living in Florida. I consider myself to be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - especially CSS. I love making things look nice. My greatest hurdles at the moment are DSAs and frontend libraries. I need to get better with React, Vue, and/or Angular, as these seem to be at the forefront of roles in my chosen field of Web Development. My portfolio website at http://darecmcdaniel.info

@Cassie Lewis yes, I agree. One thing at a time. I have some practice with React and am getting more comfortable with the syntax and rules. My degree made me work in Angular, so I know a little bit, but I'm going to try to get proficient in React first. I just highly prefer working with vanilla JavaScript for many reasons 🙂 I built my portfolio with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I just didn't see a need for frameworks and only used a small library to support the contact form. I initially had a React portfolio, but I didn't like the performance when using animations. Streamlined is my motto.

Seeking Review - Thanks!
Hi! I'd appreciate some feedback on my resume. I have 4 different versions, but I'm hoping the advice can be disseminated across the others. I think the personal summary is either too long or not in the right place; I know I should have the skills towards the top, but am unsure how to structure the rest. Thanks in advance!

@Anna Miller of course. This one is for full-stack engineer roles, or general software engineering with a lean toward full-stack development.
