Need help setting up client’s existing email with GHL
I’m trying to connect a clients existing email (managed by outlook) into GHL in order for them to centralize all of their communication inside of the software. This is the email problem: Their primary email address for new inquiries (info@businessname.com) seems to have no way to be properly implemented. It is currently managed through outlook, so I tried two-way sync. This only halfway works though as it only syncs emails from contacts existing in the software already. Therefore, new inquiries from new people will not be shown in the software. I tried this with a dedicated domain as well, but when connecting the @mybusinessname.comdomain, all of their inboxes, including private ones now show up in conversations. (ex, owner@mybusinessname.com, secretary@mybusinessname.com, etc.) They don't want to change their communication email address to some new dedicated domain as that would mess up all of their existing communication with clients. I also attempted to forward all emails from their info@mybusinessname.com to a separate GHL dedicated domain while having two way sync set up. This allows new contacts to be created and their new inbound emails to show up, but the email chains are duplicated in the conversation tab and it becomes a disorganized mess. Does anyone know how I can add this inbox so it seamlessly works with GHL (or any workarounds)? Nearly every other CRM has this as a basic feature, and the software is advertised as being able to do so. Am I missing something or does GHL just suck?

@Joshua Maxson Hey Joshua I haven't heard from you yet
If GoHighLevel Is Driving You Crazy Read This...
I’ve been seeing a lot of business owners and agency folks frustrated with GoHighLevel lately — broken automations, leads slipping through the cracks, funnels not converting, emails going to spam... I get it. I work inside GHL every single day, and I’ve had to fix all of that (and more) for clients who were ready to give up on the platform. If you're trying to get your account running smoothly — whether it’s building funnels, fixing workflows, setting up proper automations, or just making sure stuff actually works — I can help. Not here to oversell, just saying if you need someone who knows what they’re doing inside GHL and can actually get you results, feel free to message me. Happy to connect.

Finding a Needle in a Haystack
In order to free up a URL being used in GHL, we need to find the page it is assigned to and release that URL so it can be used elsewhere. In this example, themaindomain.com/blog. The problem is, there are 144 funnels in the account that are using themaindomain.com. Simply searching /blog or blog produces nothing. Does anyone have a solution for finding pages assigned to a specific URL in the system?

Hey Rocky — yeah, that can be a pain when the account has a ton of funnels tied to the same root domain. Here’s how I usually track it down: 1. Go to Sites → Funnels, then use the filter at the top to sort by domain (choose themaindomain.com). 2. Open each funnel one by one (I know, time-consuming), and check the funnel Settings tab — that’s where the path /blog might be hiding. 3. Also check the Page Settings inside each funnel step. Sometimes a step will be using /blog as the path even if the funnel URL doesn’t show it upfront. 4. Don’t forget to look under Websites too (not just Funnels), in case it’s a stand-alone page using that URL path. Unfortunately, there’s no global search function for specific URL paths inside GHL yet — but doing this filter + step-by-step check usually uncovers it. Let me know if you want help scanning through it — done it more times than I care to admit

@Rocky Anderson Totally feel you, Rocky — digging through 144 funnels is the kind of thing no one wants to hear, but yeah... sometimes it’s the only path forward. One small tip though: if you export all your funnels as a JSON backup, you can actually search through that file using a code/text editor for the specific URL string. It's not perfect, but it’s faster than manually opening each funnel. If you need help with that approach, I’m happy to guide you through it — anything to save you from going page by page.
