What’s the meaning of your name?
hey my loves 🤍 I wanna do something a little fun but also… lowkey deep. last week at my church Bible study we started talking about the meanings of our names, and it really stayed with me. my name is Jasleen, and it has Punjabi and Sanskrit roots. my mom is Puerto Rican, English was her second language in 1995, and when she named me… she had no idea what it meant. but years later, I’m practicing yoga, learning Sanskrit, hearing my own name spoken in that language… and realizing my name means: “one who is absorbed in the praises of One God” “a soul immersed in worship” “she who lives in devotion and praise” and what’s wild is that it comes from a culture with thousands of gods… and here I am today , saved, worshipping the One true God. like… the Lord really writes stories deeper than we even understand at the time. and we see this all throughout scripture God uses names, changes names, calls people into identity through their names. so now I’m curious about you 🤍 what’s your first name? what does it mean if you know and how do you see that connecting if at all to your life, your story, or your relationship with God no pressure if you don’t know the meaning yet… you can even look it up and come back 👀 I just feel like there’s something beautiful in seeing how intentional God is… even in things we didn’t choose. can’t wait to read these 🕊️✨

My mom was pregnant with a boy before she got pregnant with me and was prepared to name him Daniel. She sadly ended up having a miscarriage, then got pregnant with me awhile later and knew she was going to name me Danielle. My name is the feminine version of Daniel and means God is my judge. It’s funny because being judged used to be a fear of mine and thinking about my the meaning of my name reminds me that only God can judge me.
Testimonial Time 🕊️✨🤍
hey wise sisters🤍 if you’ve been part of this space for even a little while, I’d love to ask you something… would you be willing to drop a short testimony in the comments about how this community has impacted you? it doesn’t have to be long or perfect, just real. something you’ve learned, felt, or experienced being here. I’d love to screenshot a few and share them so others can see what God is doing in this space… and honestly, so I can hold onto it too. 🥹 no pressure at all, only if you feel led. I’m just really grateful for each of you and I want to mark what’s growing here 🌿

Before joining this group, I was unsure if I’d be in a community of women believers. I have a couple friends that are believers, but this community is just so different. I feel safe, supported and heard here
Luke Chapter 2:1-24
Tonight was… wow. We stepped into Luke 2 and it honestly didn’t feel like coincidence. It felt like God was highlighting something in real time. We talked about Mary… not just as the mother of Jesus, but as a young woman carrying something sacred in silence. How she did hard things and stayed soft. How she treasured things in her heart instead of rushing to explain them. We went into the birth of Jesus through a different lens too…not the peaceful picture we’re used to, but the reality:no support, no comfort, no midwives… and still holy. We talked about identity, circumcision of the heart, new beginnings, and what it really means to be set apart. We touched on innocence, healing, and how God restores what the world tries to distort. And one of the biggest questions that stayed with us:what are you treasuring in your heart right now? This was gentle, deep, and so Holy Spirit led.If you missed it, the replay is here 🤍 Go slow with it. Let God speak.

Books
Good morning sisters! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and that your Monday is just as fabulous. I wanted to come on here and see what the girls are reading right now. I’m currently reading The Sacred Search by Gary Thomas, I highly recommend this book for my single ladies that are still waiting for their Boaz but I also encourage the ones that are taken to read it as well. Do you guys have any book recommendations? Please let me know in the comments. I love you all and pray you have a great day! 🫶🏾

I just started Jesus the Healer by E.W Kenyon about what healing by Jesus looks like and next I’ll be reading Seeing the Voice of God by Laura Harris Smith which is about what God is telling us through our dreams

As I shared in the chat, I was able to recognize unforgiveness within myself that I thought I was past. It definitely brought up emotions I wasn’t expecting but needed to recognize. I want to thank the ladies for the discussion we had as well as practices shared for me to put into play as I navigate through truly forgiving myself and what that may look like
