Hello Brilliant One, There’s a subtle shift that seems to occur for many of us after years of spiritual practice, though it’s rarely spoken about directly. At a certain point, consciousness feels as though it’s opened—perception has widened, and our inner states have become more spacious and more connected. Environments begin to register more intensely; the body develops a heightened discernment toward the living world itself. It raises a vital question: Why would an expansion of awareness be accompanied by such increased sensitivity at the level of the body? For a long time, we’ve been told that spiritual development is primarily an inward journey. Yet the body isn’t simply a vessel observing this process. It’s participating in it continuously.
