More Questions for You
I'm working on something for the lab and I'm curious, how did you introduce fruits and veggies to your kids? Do you have a simple favorite recipe or family favorite? I'm looking for fun to make, simple and healthy snacks appropriate for 3-9 year olds. I have my favorites but I thought this community might have some fun ideas I haven't tried. @Gwen Roach, @Andrew Brooks, @Jenny Rader-Bakos, @Varsha Mistry tagging you for your culinary expertise.

I just keep giving them all different types of vegetables until they actually eat them. We found out celery works and carrots.

Some More Coloring Pages
Well, in line with the week of tech challenges I’ve been having, I also forgot to hit post on my posts today. Short recap: anyone else having a wild week? Share your story. All Access Access: Moving content is taking me a little longer but everyone with an All access pass should see things by Sunday. I’ve been sucked in to a video project with a client and lost a week. Coloring challenge continues. I hope you enjoy these pages. Watch for some updates soon. I don’t think I enjoy multiple weeks of temps near 100 F. How about you?

First Saturday Share
We have some amazingly talented and creative folks in this community. On the first Saturday of each month, I invite you to share your business. This could be a Skool community, an Etsy shop, a book you’ve written, an app you built, etc. Here are the rules: 1. You can only post in the comments of this thread, this makes it easy for members to find you. 2. If you do share, don’t just drop a link and ghost. Tell us a little about your product or service. Ideally, it’s family friendly. 3. Reply to one or two posts that genuinely interest you. While you may be here for ideas, getting to know folks is also a benefit. 4. Have fun.

@Tosca Fasso Claude is great!
What Are the Biggest Lessons You’ve Learnt From Having Children?
For those of you who have children, what are the biggest lessons parenthood has taught you? Not just practical things, but things about patience, responsibility, relationships, money, time, priorities, or even yourself. And if you don’t have children, you can still join in. What do you think people should understand, prepare for, or learn before having children? I’m curious because becoming a parent seems to change the way people see life in ways you probably can’t fully understand beforehand. So what is one lesson you wish you had known earlier?

The biggest thing I would say is I had to learn much better time management. There's only 24 hours in the day and I would like to spend a good amount of that time hanging out with my kids shaping them to be productive people in society. Now I don't have as much time for the things that I thought were fun like video games, movies, playing around on my phone with nothing more important to do. After I had kids I realized that I didn't need to see as many movies I didn't need to watch all the TV shows and it's not really that important how far I got in a video game. Now I do enjoy those things but there's just more important things to do. Spending time building my own business while having three young kids and working a full-time 9 to 5:00 job was the ultimate lesson in time management. Advice I would give to people that might be having a second or third child: Make sure you have a list of all the things that you want to do in prioritize that list at least weekly if not more often. Protect your time and don't let the algorithm of Facebook or tiktok or YouTube suck you down and rabbit hole that you don't want to be in.
