Hey everyone! I'm starting my YouTube channel from scratch. (Just upload first video) I'm looking for 3 people to create a mastermind. Purpose: accountability, help with titles, thumbnails, push each other. Together, we'll support each other, share experiences, and motivate each other to create even better content. If you are "starting" a YouTube (have some videos) or doing already and want to be a part of mastermind - leave a comment below! ππ
Also with doing frequent short videos, I can review those and treat him as feedback to quickly improve and iterate. For instance, in my most recent video I noticed that I move around a lot when I stand up which can be distracting, so I'm going to try sitting down and see if that helps.
I'm in the self-development niche. When doing a competitor analysis on YouTube, most tend to do either: 1. Talk to the camera about self-development, with some B-roll thrown in there, or 2. Have nothing but B-roll, and just talk over it. They tend to be ethics-agnostic, maybe because they don't want to limit their outreach in that regard. Due to this, they also seem to be non-integrated, giving various advice in their videos but never really fitting it all together in a kind of master process. What I'd like to see is more of an engineering/systematic/integrated approach to self-development. This is coming from someone with an engineering background. I would rather use Loom/Screen Flow and a virtual whiteboard, as well as tie everything back to an objective ethics, which I believe is the proper foundation for any kind of self-development. Does this seem like enough of a unique spin on things?
@Joao Silva Thanks, I do have a YouTube channel with one video, but I have learned a lot since doing that one, so they're going to be more structured going forward. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-CdTaxF3AkDuAIO9k4KDuQ Do you have an example of a Loom video on YouTube that you find boring (from someone who's been doing them for a while)?
