Fatherhood is kicking my ass! Lol finding it hard to set time aside for writing, there's always something more to do while raising a baby boy. Anyone have any tips..?

You're in the Write place! My name is Dan, I have a passion for writing, mostly lyrics.. but I've always enjoyed writing in general. I tend to write rap and hiphop lyrics but I've dabbled a bit in a few other genres and always surprise myself. I'd love it if we could create a tightknit community of writers that can support and motivate one another. Personally, I am super critical about my own lyrics, so much so that I have a hard time finishing things. It'll take so much time to write, so much time to read, criticize and then even more time rewriting things or even worse.. completely losing the feeling I had for that piece I was writing! Super frustrating and I know I can't be the only one.
