Today I learned something that I found to be striking. Criticism does more harm than good. It puts everyone on the defensive, and it really doesn't solve the problem. We show our strength in how we treat others :) What do you think?

Hello everyone, my name is Daniel Lugo and I wanted to welcome you into the "Born In The Storm" community! There are a lot of people that talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. I can assure you that this is not me. I was diagnosed with Severe Chron's Disease, and I have gone through 8 surgeries (without counting the small ones). For the last almost four years, my life has been a roller coaster. From almost losing my life in the first surgery, and not recognizing myself afterwards, to being in the best shape of my life, writing my own book, and trying to make an impact in the world. I know what it feels to be at the worst moment of your life, but I can assure you that I will give you my best to help you overcome your storm and become a better version of yourself. That is what happened to me. If I were granted the opportunity to go back in time to change everything that happened, I would say "no." I am 1000% better today than I was before everything happened.
