Something to remind me tomorrow.
I'm going to put this here as a reminder. If you wish, you can share some stories about what is happening from your point of view using the image below. There are no WRONG answers. Share your business answer, which is what this image is typically used for, but ALSO... Get creative, have fun, get philosophical, get weird - just don't be rude or vulgar. This is really a fun exercise for us to play with on a live call. Later tomorrow, I can show you where this can go... and why, in my mind, most people miss something. On several occasions over the years, I mentioned that this isn't about perseverance or having a strong 'why'. I don't have an answer, just an opinion. However, when I share it with other groups, it reveals something much deeper: that we all need to "succeed," and again, my definition of the word differs from "The World's" definition. Scary thing to post, and it's only my opinion: Success isn't always measured by big money. For instance, the people who did a gazillion-dollar book-thingy recently are miserable individuals who persevere. Rarely a real smile, driven by the pain of the past and admitting to _______. (I won't say it here, but it's my answer above) Now, that said, it is a public persona, so the claim goes. Serious and focused, rarely smiling, they work for that individual. I plan to do a brief live session tomorrow afternoon around this one image. We will Have Fun with this, I'm sure.
