I have a question. How do you filter your stock scans? What criteria do you use to narrow down the stocks you're going to analyze each day?

With the help of ChatGPT, I started filtering things and came up with this—what do you guys think? Is it okay?

I took this trade yesterday, and honestly, I think it had great potential. Once it reached 1R, I moved my stop to breakeven to protect the position. At first, I thought it had stopped me out at breakeven and then continued to my target. But before logging it in my DRC, I checked the chart again and realized it actually kept dropping and hit my breakeven first, avoiding what would have eventually been a full stop loss. Overall, this week I only had one losing trade on the Nasdaq—a small loss—and two breakeven trades on Gold and the S&P 500. I'm happy with the risk management. Sometimes protecting capital is the real win. See you all on Sunday! I'm going to enjoy my birthday, which just so happens to be on July 4th. So when you're celebrating Independence Day in the U.S., remember there's also a guy down in Colombia celebrating his birthday too. 😂🎉

Honestly, I'm somewhere in the middle on this one. From a macro perspective, the trend has been bearish for most of the year. It spent nearly the entire first half of the year moving lower, and there's still a chance it continues to weaken—possibly even pulling back to the 20-week SMA or beyond. That said, the charts are what matter. Price structure and technicals come first. On the 4H chart, I'm seeing a very clean sequence of higher highs and higher lows, supported by solid volume. So the question is: Is this just a relief rally before the downtrend resumes, or are we witnessing the early stages of a genuine market structure shift? We'll have to see how price behaves tomorrow and into next week. No need to predict—just react to what the market gives us. Curious to hear everyone else's thoughts.

TradeLedger Project
https://lucariowalker.github.io/tradeledger/ I've been working on this project for a little over two years, and I wanted to share a prototype of a very small part of what TradeLedger is becoming. Disclaimer: Please don't rely on this calculator yet. There are still a few coding issues and bugs that need to be fixed before it's ready for public use. The goal is to build a complete risk management calculator that supports CFDs, futures, stocks, crypto, and more. At the moment, it supports CFDs, futures, and stocks. The idea is that you can create and manage multiple trading accounts, set both your initial and current account balance, specify whether it's a prop firm or a personal account, and manage your risk dynamically through customizable profit stages and drawdown stages. Everything is fully customizable on a per-user basis, including your grading system (A+, A, B+, B, C, etc.), so your risk adjusts according to your own trading framework. As I mentioned, there are still a few details to polish before it's ready for public use. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look and share your honest feedback—whether it's features you'd add, things you'd remove, or ideas that could make it more useful. I'm always looking to improve it.
The Cathedral
https://simon-russo.com/memoir/craft-is-cathedral I highly recommend reading this as soon as you can. It genuinely brought my soul back to life, gave it color again, and left me feeling inspired after finishing just Chapter 1 of 6. It's one of those rare pieces that reminds you why you're on this journey in the first place. I think it's another must-read for everyone in this trading pod.
