Had this on the weekend. Started on 1 and was just moving through the motions easy, I did tighten after a couple of “horse shoed” putts, but got the discomfort feeling a bit further back. Saying that, when I got home I forgot how much I missed that feeling, miss those nerves, that fear, so entry fee will be paid next time and we will ride it out!

Monthly medal at stawell Saturday, haven’t won one at stawell yet and need a great score to even get close. I’m ok with not getting one as not much handicap to work with so very hard to win one😂

Mental Mastery Tip- Get out of your head!!
We have all heard or used to term "Get Out of Your Head", this tip is a playful way of making sure your thoughts and focus are external which will help eliminate sitting in your stress or anxiety during a round of golf.

Positive Visualisation= 💩 Results!
I have never been a fan of Fluffy Positive Self Talk or Visualising Success. Research studies show that this rarely transfers to competitive situations and almost half the time, had a negative impact on performance! Comment below with your thoughts 🧠💪🏻🧠💪🏻

Love this. Helping someone rebuild his swing at the moment and we spoke about “embracing the struggle” as things click. He has a great attitude & no matter how bad he hit a shot would say “I dont mind as want to get this right” well looks like he will get it to “click” a lot quicker than most who will just give up and go back as he has 100% accepted the struggle.
