Did a sketch/Blockout of my concept for this week, going to be doing a paintover with the render as my final. The idea was a worker bug drilling ore with a lazer-mech. Any critique at this stage will be very helpful.

It is my first try for proper character design. In the beginning I did it too much looking like a human and it made it boring, so I tried to play with shapes. Not sure about colors yet and this brown things, but pretty much it. I adore this challenge so much, thank you!
