How are you trying to implement AI in your business? What's the main benefit you're hoping it will bring? Is there an AI content creator you already follow, business-focused or not, whose content you enjoy?
I'll go first 😄 We're a family accounting practice mainly aiming to implement AI in reviewing and categorising transactions, preparing monthly reports, triaging and drafting email replies. Since our IT setup is a bit eclectic - evolved not designed - it's a fair bit of work across many current applications! The main benefit we're seeking is reduced time-spend so we can spend more time on the valuable pre-emptive advice these activities allow us to provide to our clients. It also means we can move onto our growth ambitions, freed up from the admin that's keeping us working in the business rather than working on the business. I tested AI workflows on outbound sales with some success, but had to turn it off as we got too busy just from good old fashioned referrals. I since started some commission-based side-work for another business - family relation - on the back of that, building AI into their lead generation activities, and I've seen how impressive and cost-effective the results can be, so I'm keen to extend that to our own business as soon as the admin burden is handled. I follow Sam Witteveen to keep me up to date with AI tech, he seems to have a really level head in what can be quite a hyped subject matter. I also really love Bijan Bowen's infectious mirth as he takes AI models, especially text to speech, to their limits 😄
