Hello everyone. My name is Dan and I live in sunny Southern California. Prior to that I lived for several years in Germany. I recently started listening to instrumental guitar music on Spotify and really like the music of creators like Sebastian, Friend from Work, and Rebecca Mardal. I was really excited to see that there is a community dedicated to this type of music. This form of electric guitar music is very therapeutic to me, especially during some rough recent times in my life. I am a husband/dad and am a full-time aerospace engineer. I am a self-taught hobbyist guitar player. i've been playing guitar for about 30 years now, generally alone but i have played with others in local churches. I have a classical, acoustic, bass, and multiple electric guitars. It's hard to say which is my "favorite" but the one I use the most is my Fender "American Professional" Stratocaster. To give myself personal challenges and goals, I create videos on my youtube channel and made an EP, and from time to time i put songs on SoundCloud. I use Fender Studio Pro as a DAW to record/produce music. I'm glad to join this group and look forward to contributing in this community.
