Decided that this was as good a time as any to take the risk and put forth my best effort in turning a creative project from the last few years -> into a business. - My goal is to prove viability/scalability to myself over the next 6-8 months, see what doors the Lord opens or closes and then re-evaluate. Unless the Lord leads me otherwise, currently this has my sole focus and I will remain unemployed for this 6-8 month window to give this my full attention. I'm still praying on and feeling out what that % will be long term but at the moment it is a bold 50%.

Paul wrote this from prison, thanking a little church that had sent him money. His point to them was simple. You just gave away what you had, and God's going to cover you. Here's why that matters for a founder. Your needs feel big because your resources feel small. But the promise doesn't say God provides according to what's in your account. It says He provides according to what's in His. And His doesn't run out. You've got real needs this week, and every week. Payroll, leads, energy, patience. This week, bring them to God. Pray directly to the nature of your yoke and trust in His solutions.

There's a real danger in grinding it out sometimes. For those of you who know me, you know that I'm a big fan of "bias toward action: working hard, getting the job done, and enjoying the fruits of the effort, which leads to an inspired process and fulfilling labor. That being said, when you take on too much, it doesn't just harm you. It bleeds out into everything else around you: the people, the processes, and even the tools. As this video shows, my poor Workmaster 25S (excellent little sub-compact from New Holland) has seen better days. But it certainly isn't the tractor's fault. It was me trying to get too much done in not enough time. "Grinding" to meet deadlines and solve problems that didn't have to be solved in that moment. Being grounded in something greater to give perspective in everyday life is crucial. For me, it's faith above all, which lends to family, health, and leisure. But as a very flawed human, I forget these things. May (not so) awesome plans get in the way.
