I made my first purchase for my first gift basket yesterday - very exciting. I found two cute baskets on sale at Michael’s. I decided on the wicker basket in the end because it was easier to see what was inside. Also, it will look good in our home after I give it to my husband on Father’s Day. I’m looking forward to your video on preparing a Father’s day gift basket @Dr. Saundra Stancil. So far, I bought some of his favourite chocolate bars to go inside.

My 19 year old daughter is an artist and after completing a one year art fundamentals diploma, she is not sure what she wants to do next. She’s dragging her feet finding a part time or full time job (the casual job she has has no shifts to give her currently). She loves shopping and is very creative. Her room is full of un-opened cute things she has bought but doesn’t need. Maybe creating gift baskets would be a good business to start. I would love to help her with them too. I don’t want to scare her off coming at her like a freight train - which I tend to do when excited so I’ll give it some time. Any ideas on how I could suggest this to her would be welcome. Of course, any ideas that parents have for grown children are usually met with an eye roll!
