This is the step where many people hesitate. They start thinking: "Who am I to teach this?" "Am I experienced enough?" "What if I’m not an expert yet?" Let’s clear something up right now. You do not need to be the most advanced person in the world to lead a community. You simply need to have perspective, experience, or progress that can help others move forward. Sometimes that means you’ve already achieved the results people want. Other times it means you’re actively walking the path and sharing what you're learning along the way. Both are powerful. People are drawn to leaders who are real, transparent, and committed to the journey. 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮: 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝟏 — 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 If you’ve already achieved results, think about things like: • What progress or results have you created for yourself?• Have you helped others get results too?• How long have you been involved in this space?• Do you have career experience, certifications, or hands-on knowledge? Documenting your journey openly can be incredibly powerful because people connect with honesty and growth. 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 Here’s an example of a credibility statement: "Over the past year and a half, I built a Skool community from the ground up, grew it into a five-figure monthly business, and generated hundreds of thousands in revenue. Now I’m teaching the exact system I used so others can follow the same path." Your version doesn’t need to be dramatic or perfect. It just needs to be true. People don’t join communities because the leader is flawless. They join because they trust the person guiding the journey. Share your story below — wherever you are in it. 👇

Now that you know the problem you solve and who you help, it’s time to define the change your community creates. In other words… What is different in someone’s life after they join your community? We’re going to break this into two simple pieces. ✅ 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐀: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 Describe what things look like before someone joins your community and what life looks like after they’ve been inside for a while. Avoid vague answers like “they feel better” or “they learn a lot.” Think about real, measurable change: • What are they struggling with right now? • What becomes easier once they’re inside your community? • What results do they start experiencing? ✅ 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐁: 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 Next, explain what you provide inside the community that helps them make that change. This could include things like: • Step-by-step lessons or courses • Weekly coaching or Q&A calls • Templates or scripts • Accountability groups • Resources and tools • A structured roadmap These are the vehicles that move your members from their current situation to the outcome they want. 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬: 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞: They’re trying to grow their business alone, constantly searching YouTube for answers and feeling overwhelmed by too many strategies. 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫: They have a clear business plan, a supportive community, and a step-by-step system they follow to generate leads and sales consistently. 𝐇𝐨𝐰: Inside the community they get training modules, weekly coaching calls, templates, and a place to ask questions and stay accountable. If your community isn’t fully built yet, that’s completely okay. Right now we’re simply getting clear on what transformation your community is designed to deliver. Now that you’ve identified the problem your community solves, the next step is figuring out who is actually struggling with that problem. And no — the answer is not “everyone.” Strong communities are built for a very specific type of person. The clearer you are about who that person is, the easier it becomes to: • Create content they relate to • Attract the right members • Build offers they actually want Think about your ideal member for a minute and answer these questions: • Who are they exactly? • What stage of life or business are they in? • What have they already tried that didn’t work? • What challenge is frustrating them the most right now? Can you suggest different audience segments who might be interested in this?" ChatGPT will generate several audience types. Review the list and choose the one that best represents the people you want inside your community. This step matters more than most people realize because we’ll use this exact information later when building your About Page and messaging. Every successful community starts with one clear problem. Not five. Not a list of everything you know. Just one core problem your members are actively trying to solve. If your community tries to solve everything, people won’t understand why they should join. Think about it this way… If your ideal member was lying awake at 3 AM, frustrated and searching for answers, what would they type into Google?
