My Health Sat Me On My Ass This Week
The last 7 days have been rough and it forced me to sit and stare into space literally to try and heal. I had been pushing myself hard and what resulted was a major flair of my Ménière’s disease that lasted to date 5 days of misery straight, 3 doctors visits, a neurologist referral and an emergency visit. Why am I telling you this...Today is evaluation day of week 3 - I am at the 21 day mark. The quitting threshold and I have felt like quitting so many times this week. This is a PRIME example of a complex life circumstance that I failed to take into account when I created my Domino goal and MITs. I hate using the label "sick" or "disabled" on myself and I constantly try to push forward as if I was "normal". If you are in the Execution Edge program, I am adding a training today on these things (complex life circumstances) that we need to take into account when creating our goals and MITs. I thought I could push myself and ignore them and this week proved how gravely wrong I was. Complex life circumstances can be a range of things. You are sick, a carer for an elderly parent, a single mum, low income, bad living environment, neurodivergent, part of a minority - all things that can genuinely impact us as a human and big reasons we sometimes don't hit our goals. I wanted to show that out of the blue life can smash you and you are forced to stop. You never saw it coming and it will make you want to quit everything. In these moments you will need to have compassion on your human self. If you are in the Execution Edge, I am adding a new lesson today on exactly this - compassionate curiosity as this has been a BIG mindset thing I have had to work on this week. The Execution Edge framework is saving me...this post is being written in a 10 minute sprint as I am still not well and have another doctor's appointment today. This week has forced me to literally work in 10 minute sprints to just show up at all this week. Plus you are forced to re evaluate how you damaged your health to get there. After all we are told to be successful at all costs right - sacrifice everything.

Lead yourself. Own your business.
I think I've finally figured out why so many business owners stay stuck... myself included for years. And it's not because they need another funnel. Or another AI tool. Or another strategy. I've built the SIMPLE systems. I've built AI skills and automations. I've built converting sales funnels. I've helped clients build them too. But here's what I've seen over and over again... We spend weeks getting everything ready to launch. Then... Nothing. Or they do one post. One live. One story. One masterclass. Then the thoughts start... "Nobody bought." "Maybe my offer isn't good enough." "Maybe I need a different funnel." "Maybe I should change my niche." "Maybe I need another AI tool." Sound familiar? The problem usually isn't the system. It's that they quit before the system had enough time to give them the data they needed. Not because they don't know how. Not because the software was wrong. Not because the offer was bad. But because they couldn't sit with the discomfort long enough to let the process work. So they change the offer. They change the funnel. They change the strategy. They change the platform. When what they really needed was one moment of self-leadership. That's when I realised... This isn't a systems problem. It's a self-leadership problem. Here's how I define self-leadership: Self-leadership is the habit of making aligned decisions, following through consistently, and taking ownership of your business...regardless of your mood, fear, or circumstances. Notice what I didn't say. I didn't say work at 100% every day. Life and business doesn't work like that. You can try to hustle harder, push through it but you will burn out at some point as its unsustainable. Last week I was dealing with migraines and Ménière's disease. It's a medical condition that could take months to stabilise. Did I work at my normal pace? No. But I didn't disappear. I adjusted. I worked in 10-minute blocks. I kept asking myself one question: "Given the capacity I have today, what's my next 10-minute aligned action?"

Girl this is exactly right! I really and truly felt so silly because I had no idea what I was doing so I thought to myself "they're laughing at you" omgosh, really? Everyone starts somewhere. I am currently in the process of pruning and I will tell you what I am already growing from it!

Power Days vs Trying To Execute Daily
Today I want to talk about something that changed how I approach one of the most important parts of building a business online. Conversations and engagement. This is you looking for your dream people. You can look based on the gaps you need to fill in what you do, the values they display and their personality. For the longest time, I bought into the advice of talk to 5 people every day. I learned quickly this wasn't going to build anything with momentum. It was a lie I had been told to keep me in "the game" a little longer. Boy was it hard tho! Going slow and steady feels like death by a thousand little cuts. And honestly? It never felt natural to me. I'd do it for a day or two and then it would fall off. Until I realised, that's just not how I'm wired. Some people thrive on daily minimums, a little every day, consistent and steady. That system works beautifully for them. Others of us work better with POWER Days. One day, one focus, full energy behind it. 100 conversations started. Instead of spreading conversations across 7 days, you go all in 1-2 days and spend the rest of the week nurturing the conversations flowing back to you. Neither is wrong. The only mistake is forcing yourself into someone else's system and wondering why you can't stick to it. Here's what my weekly rhythm looks like: 📅 Monday — Power Conversation Day 🎥 Friday — YouTube Recording Day 📅 Saturday — Power Conversation Day 💬 Daily — Nurture conversations already started The system that works is the one you can actually stick too. Are you a daily minimums person or a power day person? Drop below 👇

Can I just pause to celebrate you!
Since this challenge started, we have moved up the leaderboard by 423 places all because of you amazing people jumping in and doing the work and being super active. Also the amazing @Rupi Donzenac had this community show up in her ads! I just can't thank you all enough. Let's make this community the most amazing. Where noone is being used to grow, where we all work together and where everyone gets a seat at the table of success. Massive congrats also to @Kerrie Wearing as I saw her community being advertised by Skool the other day as well. We want to be the proof that you can be ethical, not fomo people and you can WIN!
Can I just pause to celebrate you!

@Faith Christiansen Gf, YES! For real life. I set camp around those people. Hahahaaa, it is total junk... I have heard some say it's fun. I can't understand that one. Math is fun. My bad subject.. close behind is history.
The Shiny Object hit me hard
I got caught in shiny object syndrome yesterday. I was supposed to record a YouTube video. Instead I built a Pinterest skill in Claude that I didn't need yet, and before I knew it the day was gone and the video wasn't done. Sound familiar? 😅 Here's what saved me though. I did my evening debrief inside my Execution Edge project in Claude — and because I'd uploaded all the knowledge files (located in the execution edge course under each lesson), it didn't just listen. It actually pulled me up on where I went off course, reminded me of my Domino Goal, and helped me brainstorm my 3 MITs for today. That's the difference between just journaling into the void and having a responsive, educated system that knows your run and knows the system. And that's exactly what this 90 day challenge is about for me too — my Domino Goal IS this run. Helping you (and me) stay in the game long enough to get real data, make educated decisions, and back yourself with evidence instead of just emotions. Because most people quit before the data shows up. They create a new offer, a ne sales page - they buy courses on a new tactic, new social media platform and the cycle repeats. This is why we have ONE domino goal that knocks off multiple goals at once. Which brings me to DAY 2 — 10 Minute Sprints. The biggest objection that I get is I don't have the time. Everyone is busy and I get it which is why before we started this, I recommended clearing the decks. What will you stop, start and pause. I actually did a youtube video on mine so you can see what I decided on. https://youtu.be/ltgtwOX8Wn4 The 10 minute sprints were designed to help solve this. We all have the same amount of hours in a day and we all can find 10 minutes with the help of Claude to execute 1 task towards our MITs. Plus I learned if you give yourself 3 hours to do something, it will take 3 hours or more. If you give yourself 10 minutes - it may not be perfect but it will get done. Instead of staring at a massive goal and freezing — you ask: what's the next 10 minute action? Then you do it. Then again. That's how momentum actually gets built.
