What a journey and what a journey to come...
2025 - made it through my first winter with my home service business, luckily I like saving money and had enough to squeak by. Continued to build my brand and focus on making clients happy. Brought on some contractors and dealt with a lot of headache. Bought a work van, it crapped out, bought a work truck, it has tried to crap out twice but I keep reviving it, woo! haha. Got a large storage unit so I could move my work tools/materials out of the garage, felt like a big step, but it was much less than my original plan to get a workshop ($200/mo vs $1,000-$1,600/mo) glad I talked with my grandpa who had a lawncare business for the storage unit insight. Got a professional email setup almost 2 years into my business, its not my name at gmail anymore, its my business name at wok . com. NICE! Now we are already about to enter 2026 with more wisdom. I like having people do work and I get paid for it, but making sure things get done right (or at leas the way you want it done) was challenging. Contractors constantly doing things there way and often royally messing things up and then they play dumb... lmao. Fun. The goals for this slow season/winter (End of March) - Setup automations/workflows within my CRM and MAKE SURE I USE IT! So I can have systems in place to keep up with new leads, old leads, current clients, etc. This will be a nice quality of life adjustment - Get my Freemium Skool community built up with pay options so if people so choose... they can purchase things to make their life easier instead of doing everything alone... like I did. Things like website building, logo creation, crm setup, one on one coaching, and a blueprint on how to get your first clients. This skool group will help me prepare for franchising my own business while igniting my dream of being a business coach and help others escape the rat race so they can make a considerable change for the better in their lives. With my CRM ready to rock, I will be ready to take on 2026 and make it an amazing year! LETS GO!
What a journey and what a journey to come...

@Ilja Tom Gull amen!
An Update + Maybe "Micro Mirror Calls" Anytime Soon 🆕
A couple of thoughts… These last few days I've been quieter around Skool (both here and in other groups). As you know, I'm still in the middle of figuring things out… yet… I've noticed there's a lot of noise out there about Skool communities, growth hacks, and money-making opportunities. And sure, I'm absolutely open to earning some extra cash too — but that was never the intention behind this group. The spark for creating this space came from wanting to keep “Unicorns” like you around me. Which means pushing for rapid growth or chasing numbers just makes zero sense in the first place. Why am I telling you this? Because I'm not planning to post every single day, maybe not even for weeks! Sometimes I genuinely feel like sharing or asking something. Other times, there's simply nothing worth bringing to you. It reminds me of “small talk.” And I'm terrible at small talk. In fact - I can’t stand it. If something truly matters to me, I can talk for hours. But talking (or here: posting) just for the sake of filling space, while hoping for community growth or even engagement, that’s not who I am.. Also, I’ve decided NOT to bring any new people into the community without getting to know them FIRST. Meaning: BEFORE someone NEW joins, we’ll have a more in-depth video call. Given my initial intention with this group, that’s the bare minimum I owe to everyone here, including myself. Otherwise - how would I know this person is a match to this group? I simply wouldn't!! Or do you think by asking a couple "qualifying questions with a form"? Really? I don't think that's good enough.. If you have another view, I'm keen to know as you know. ;) With all that said — I do have two things. I came across someone who in my view is a world-class expert what he does. Kevin Trudeau. This video here resonates BIG times with me. I hope you'll also find it insightful and/or "confirming". If there is anything that is triggering you or whatever, please share - I'd be super-keen to know.

I definitely enjoyed our video chat. I agree that just posting to post loses value. I like that you are sticking to quality over quantity
Why Some Belief Changes Transform Your Life (And Others Don’t)
Have you ever noticed that sometimes eliminating a belief changes everything… and other times you clear a belief and basically nothing happens? For a long time, I thought this was some kind of mystery. After working on beliefs for years – my own and those of many others – I realized it’s actually very simple. There are clear patterns that explain why some beliefs create massive change, and why others barely move the needle. If you understand these patterns, you stop wasting time on beliefs that won’t change your life. And you start focusing on the ones that actually matter. When I eliminated “I’m not capable,” everything shifted. For years, I carried the belief “I’m not capable.” It influenced almost everything I did. If I didn’t know how to do something, I usually didn’t even try. I assumed I wouldn’t be able to figure it out. The moment that belief was gone, the change was immediate: Instead of “I can’t do this,” my default became “I’ll figure it out.” Completely different experience of life. Now here’s the important part: I could have worked on something like “It’s hard for me to do things I don’t already know.” That kind of belief sounds relevant, but it only describes the problem. It’s not the belief causing the behaviour. The 4 factors that determine whether a belief change will be big or barely noticeable. 1. How many beliefs are holding the pattern in place If ten beliefs are propping up your problem and you eliminate one, you won’t feel much. If only two beliefs are causing the pattern and you remove one, the shift is big. 2. Broad vs. narrow beliefs Some beliefs affect almost every area of your life. Others only show up in specific situations. Example: A client had already cleared most of his major beliefs and felt huge improvements. But he still couldn’t present in front of people. The remaining belief was: “If you make a mistake in front of people, you’ll be ridiculed.” We eliminated it. Presenting became a non-issue. Narrow belief, narrow impact — but exactly the right target.

@Ilja Tom Gull this is great...beliefs can impact us in crazy ways...they literally guide our lives...more than reality does.
Cause Not Effect 🔁
Just read this in a book on sales and thought it was pretty cool. The author writes (paraphrasing): “The basis of service is proactivity. Everyone on our team knows that they are the cause of what happens, not the effect. If a customer/client calls us asking for deliverables first, we know we’re failing.” 🤯 What are your thoughts?

I feel we both play a part....but yes...we definitely do play a huge part in what we do and the outcome.
Another Day In Paradise! What?
Good morning! My brain was processing tons of info - no surprise there! ;-) Two things I wanted to share with you guys/gals briefly. First the "funny" part. A former business mentor of mine always responded to me in the same fashion, when being asked: "How are you doing today?". His response was always the same. "Amazing - another day in paradise"! I simply love this response, to this day, because in my view, it is very telling about his mindset. Meaning focus on "issues and problems" vs being grateful for what already is etc. Small thing? For me it's BIG! In any case, about my second point. Connecting or re-connecting can be a pain. Especially when it comes to logistics, different time zones, you name it. That's why I've finally setup my calendly again, so that not if, but when anyone of you guys and gals feel like having a chat, PLEASE make use of it, and simply schedule a call. Topics? It doesn't matter! - Wanne say "hi", just for the sake of it? Hey, I'm in - hit me up! - You have a new/existing idea or project and want to brainstorm about it? Schedule a call! - Do you feel low and simply want to be heard! Block a time-slot! - You're looking for accountability - any topic! Klick the link! - Any question or thoughts you want to be challenged? Let's talk!! - Any idea for this community you want to share? Let's gooo! - Any resourceful critic for me?! Oh man, I want to know!! You'll see here. It can be as short as simply a couple minutes, or 1,5h hours. Check out and pick what feels right to you, at this very moment. https://calendly.com/iljathomasgull I feel it goes without to say, but just to be on the safe side. Many of us have been burned by "scheduling a call", it ends up being a sales pitch or whatever. NOT HERE!
