Show Your Work
Drop what you're working on, anything in progress, anything you just shipped that you're proud of, anything you're stuck on. Share a link, a screenshot, a paragraph, whatever feels right. I'd love to see the work and hear about your process, the messy parts especially. What's working, what isn't, what you'd do differently. Constructive criticism only by default. Add "tough love" to your post if you want real talk.

@Joseph Fioramonti so as I've mentioned I'm working on messaging context and in building a brand messaging framework yesterday for a consultant, I had claude build this out before she has the money to invest in brand work from a creative. https://collideascope.co/brands/JEC-Brand-Guidelines.html It's a starting point and haven't presented anything to her yet. I like the idea of Constellations and how you're collecting feedback to make better creative decisions. This brand guide is generated solely off messaging work, not her preferences to colors or typeface but the AI made these choices based off her target audience and her services. There is somewhere in the middle where her personal brand and tastes meet what is going to resonate with the target audience, and I'm curious how you get there.

@Joseph Fioramonti very helpful for me to see how you go through the process and connect it back to constellations, makes a lot more sense now. Great tips, I'll let you know if we should do a demo/trial.
Course 1 Discussion: A Primer On Perception
Welcome to the Course 1 discussion. This is where the Start Here conversations live, no matter which lesson brought you here. Lesson 1 asks what you make and what you'd like to understand about your audience. Lesson 2 asks what you'd want to study if you could put a question in front of thousands. Lesson 3 asks what surprised you in the sample studies on constellations.app. Different prompts, same thread. Bring real work, real questions, and real surprises. The thread is more useful when people are specific.

Your framing around visual perception resonates with something I keep running into on the messaging side. When we interview a client's actual customers and put their words next to the website copy, the gap is always jarring. The business describes what they do. The customer describes what changes for them. Different language, different structure, different emotional register entirely. It seems you see this same mirror/window dynamic in the visual work — where a brand's visual choices are a projection of the team's taste rather than a studied read on how the audience actually decodes them. Is that a correct assessment?
