Next Chapter Hi everyone, I'm Cuan, based in Nottingham, UK. My background sits right at the intersection of law, people, and tech. I have an LLB Hons degree in Law, I'm CIPD qualified in people management, and I'm currently finishing a part time MSc in AI for Business at The University of Law. Day to day, I'm currently leading AI Readiness and Adoption for a multi-organisation enterprise, building responsible AI governance frameworks and services from the ground up. I've also just launched my own venture: ERA AI. The belief behind it is simple. AI should be Ethical, Responsible, and Applied, not just internally, but visibly, to the people a business is trying to win as clients. Here's the problem I keep running into: as regulation tightens, genuinely strong AI companies and consultants are losing enterprise deals they shouldn't be. Not because their tech isn't good enough, but because they can't confidently answer the hard governance questions a buyer's team asks before they'll sign, resulting in lost trust, time, and money. My aim is to partner with AI teams to audit and strengthen the governance practices enterprise clients and the law now expect, and help them land more sales because of it, not despite it. This is about pulling together everything I've learned across law, people, and AI for Business into something that's genuinely mine. A new era of AI needs to be built on trust, and I want to help lead that.
