@Brenda Rigney so helpful 🤔
Went Back to Freemium Model
I tried a two tiered paid model with a one-week free trial during August. It was a dismal FAIL. But I am really glad I did it. What I learned: 1. Traffic alone does not solve the issue. If they do not convert once they land on your page, nothing will save you. Had over 2500 in traffic and only 4 sign ups. I went from 15% conversion to .02% conversion. 2. I obviously had an offer problem. So I revamped it. A lot. Fingers crossed it lands better now. 3. My on-boarding needed fixing. I already did this once, but obviously not to the degree it needed. I now have a 5-Day Challenge for right when they start. Each day will take no more than 10 to 30 minutes (depending on the effort they put in) so there will be many wins right up front to get momentum going. Am filming the videos for each of these days today. 4. I took @Brenda Rigney advice and am now just offering a sliver of what I offer inside the free tier. A valuable sliver. But just a sliver. Before I gave away too much for free. My community is now designed around my 6-Step process and the Free tier offers Step 1. My hope is that this will motivate to convert to higher tiers in order to get all 6 steps. 5. The whole thing is a process, and I need to keep the faith. Trust me there have been times when I was ready to throw in the towel around all of it. What I offer is valuable though. Women are getting great results. Eventually, I will have it dialled in. Anyway, hope this helps someone else who is finding themselves floundering around, trying to dial it all in so it actually works.

Im using freemium but thinking of changing it up after collecting more data over time. Great post. Appreciate you sharing this.
Trolls or something else 🤔
Quick question: my Skool is growing (🎉 yay) but I’m also starting to get membership requests that are a bit strange. I have a freemium model. We have 15 members and 3-4 that engage consistently. The last two requests were definitely some kind of bot and maybe a man. I ask three questions in the sign up. One requires a tiny bit of reflection. I’m not judging just trying to ensure my first welcome message hits the right spot. The other two questions ensure that what we do will resonate with them. Both times the answer was “yes” but in looking at the name, profile image or lack of, and other communities, it seemed best to decline. My worry is how do I maintain a safe space for these mature professional women who are just beginning their journey within the community. If a man or a bot gets inside… then what 😮. I’m actually planning to launch another community that will include men down the road, but it’s not a priority now. Would love to hear others perspective… Am I being too careful?

@Dianna Carlton yes that was the red flag. The person who seemed like a man had already joined 55 groups that same day. Personally, I am already in about 12 groups and I realize I need to downsize because I’m only gonna really participate and probably three groups. But I want to support other people. I do love networking and getting to know people. 🤔 Thanks for your reply to this question. Appreciate you. 🙏🏾

@CeeCee Gonzales great plan! I didn’t even know that there were crochet groups here on Skool. I’m in a real life crochet group on Wednesday mornings but I’ve been missing it. … my projects are falling behind. We’ll definitely check yours out. ☺️ I should say I’m Self taught, so I’m a bit intimidated when I see groups. Although I’ve been doing it for 40 years. Thanks for your reply.

@Sarina Bland I’m following two of your pages now. Love the compatibility between our groups.
How do you stay consistent?
I've been a full time business owner for 7 years (this time). It's my 3rd business and my challenge has always been consistency. I'm Neurospicy or at least my brain is so I tend to juggle and bounce. Which of course means I drop the ball on the stuff that's important to me. I'm looking for suggestions that will keep me on track with my multiple projects and still allow my neurospicy brain to thrive. I'm not looking to change my entire pattern just to find a way to stop falling off cliffs when I go down rabbit holes.
