I have American Express gold already and want another American Express card. I heard once you have a card and get a hard inquiry after that you get no more hard inquiries for Amex cards that you get. Is that accurate information?

Hi guys! I just wanted to ask regarding credit age and profile. The video here suggested applying for a card every ~6 months after accepting a card. Would it be best to get sought after cards, or any kind of credit card? Thanks!
