The goal: each member leaves with one workflow they want to build. ## Ready-to-post lesson ### ⚡ What’s one task you wish you never had to do again? Before we build an AI automation, let’s pick something worth automating. For today’s exercise, choose a task that: - You repeat regularly. - Has a clear starting point. - Uses information you can access. - Has a result you can check. Don’t try to automate your entire business. Start with one small task. ### Example: handling a property inquiry Imagine receiving this message: > “I’m looking for a three-bedroom home in Atlanta under $450,000. I’d like to move within three months.” Here’s a proposed workflow: `New inquiry → Extract buyer details → Draft a reply → Agent reviews` For this exercise, AI would extract the details and draft the response. The agent would check the draft before sending it. The lesson isn’t “let AI handle everything.” It’s “identify one useful job for AI and decide where a person should review the result.” ### ✍️ Your challenge Complete these four lines in the comments: 1. My repetitive task: ______ 2. What starts it: ______ 3. The information it needs: ______ 4. The result I want: ______ Example: > My repetitive task: Writing the first reply to buyer inquiries. > What starts it: A new website form submission. > The information it needs: The buyer’s message and contact details. > The result I want: A draft reply ready for my review. Bonus: Where would you add a human check? ## How to teach it live Use this suggested 15-minute structure: - 3 minutes: Introduce the challenge and show the property-inquiry example. - 4 minutes: Map the example into its starting point, information, and result. - 5 minutes: Have members complete the four lines. - 3 minutes: Pick one member’s example and sketch the workflow together. For the next lesson, use one of the submitted examples to demonstrate a build. That gives you a connected lesson sequence: identify a task, map the workflow, then build it.
