Note: Yes, we are finally ready to begin our courses. I have been waiting to catch up so I can start editing university-level courses in creativity, photography, art, and web design to make them accessible to everyone, from beginners to experts… but 30 years of experience takes time to distill into a true experience. In this postI wanted to show a timeline on DaVinci Resolve, an NLE software to edit videos. This is the most powerful editing software on the market. And this is not an opinion, this is a fact, as the main film and post production houses have been using it for major film, documentaries, and basically anything related to motion picture...now also edits images and stills with the power of it's colour grading. No... this is not a class of Master Academy, because I will have videos for that, to help with understanding and mastering the creative process (no matter the software that you prefer to use). This is to understand Bad from Good ... and then, become Great! In the courses that are about to start here on Master Academy, you will have to create and understand the process that makes things great. No matter if you use AI or you are a purist like me, where the craft is still available even if you pull the 🔌Plug. Yes, no matter digital, film, hand-help, AI, the tools are always irrelevant, the idea and what you can create with it are the point of this course. Trust me on this, if you know how to edit, film, shoot, with analog, you will be always thousands of steps ahead of who only uses AI. So don't be afraid and start this journey with me. While I am the worst in creating and cultivating a community (as you all know very well), I can guarantee that my 30 years of experience working with the biggest brands in the world will come handy to each one of you, from Novice to Expert.
