New to me… Baby GS (SARB035)
I’ve been chasing one of these for quite some time. Discontinued and selling for absolutely stupid money on the secondary market ($800-$1200) I managed to pick this one up very close to retail. The Seiko SARB035 is known as a baby Grand Seiko. I was searching for the cream dial, as it’s a neutral that is missing from my collection. So what do you think? The first picture was the screen-shot inspiration of when I decided I wanted one, the second is my newest to my collection on my wrist earlier this evening. I’m filing this under “Baby Grail” while affordable, they are getting harder to come by in like-new condition.

Timeless. I have the sarb033 and still on the hunt for a reasonably priced sarb035.

@Daniel Vellone i’ve seen a few preowned 035 priced around $800-$900. I got my 033 last year, also preowned at only $500

Classy!
which of these 3 would you sport?
Been very blessed in my life to have had some wonderful opportunities (especially in the realm of online entrepreneurship) and have had quite a growing addiction to luxury wearables... On the left is my first ever Rolex, a 2013 Date-Just Ref. 116334 that I was able to snag back in December 2020 (mainly as a gift for myself for hitting a business milestone with my own company at the time). The middle child, and middle here lol, is a 1996 Rolex Explorer II Ref. 16570 which I couldn't say no to when I got a phone call from my authorized dealer just a few months after obtaining my first one... And on the right is my Gold Day-Date Ref. 18038 from 1979 which I got in Ginza/Tokyo in Japan (after looking in 1000 stores conservatively lol) back in June of 2024. This was something really big as it was in celebration of a personal business milestone that I always wanted to hit/accomplish... + this was the same referenced watch worn by one of my favourite TV show characters of all time Tony Soprano haha! Curious to know, out of those 3 which one would be your daily wrist wearer? I've gone in cycles in all 3 but currently it has to be the Day-Date...

I think I’m done with my collection…for now
I don’t have anything in mind for my next watch. Maybe next year again.

@Robert Irwin i’d probably consolidate as some of these I cannot remember the last time I wore them. I’m gonna hunt for a vintage King Seiko when I visit Japan.

@Gene Berlin Indeed! I started collecting April 2017, but thinking of consolidating as some are not getting wrist time
