🚨 IMPORTANT - Writing Your First Policy + Accidental Death
In this agency we write the first policy on ourselves. It is also important to understand accidental death coverage as we use it often with our clients! Writing the first accidental health policy on yourself helps you learn the application process as BOTH the agent AND the client, and it even speeds up your carrier approvals and contracting!!! in other words, you’ll get cleared faster and paid faster just by submitting your first app. (Confirmed by an SFG Managing Partner). ✅ If you have your Health license: Write a Mutual of Omaha (MOO) Guaranteed ADvantage - Super inexpensive accidental death plan that counts as a clean first application. YOU CAN WRITE THIS AS SOON AS YOU SIGN YOUR MOO CONTRACTS ON SURELC USING THE "JIT INSTRUCTIONS!" ^ ❌ If you don’t have your Health license yet - no problem! You still have two options that you can write with only a Life license: 🦍 UHL Protector AD (ages 18–60) - Offers 3 options ($50k, $75k, or $100k) - ✅ Best move if you just want to knock it out fast - Go with $50k to keep cost as low as possible 🛡️ Americo ADB (ages 20–60) - Offers 4 options ($100k, $150k, $200k, or $250k) - Includes a bonus $1,000 payout for any cause of death - If you or your client want $100k or more of coverage, go Americo - That $1k bump makes up for any small price difference. YOU MUST WAIT TO WRITE THESE TWO UNTIL CONTRACTS ARE APPROVED! ^ 🎯 One More Thing: You MUST submit this and all policies to OPT! to make it official and get credit. Don't skip this step. @Tyra Taylor no it doesn’t have to be. This is just what we recommend because they are the cheapest for you! If you want more coverage for yourself with a different product, that works too!
Half empty or half full?
Your outlook on life will shape the outcome you get. If you’re looking constantly at what’s missing, what you’re doing wrong, and giving yourself (and others) constant criticism your glass is half empty. Switching that around with gratitude and looking at ; what am I doing right? How did I win today? How did I show up for myself today? How did I show up for my clients today? WILL MAKE a life changing difference. No one said this business would be easy, it will change you into the person you’re wanting to be if you let it and grow with it. So my question is - HOW is your glass half full today?

I started Lighthouse leads and funnel but havent sold a policy YET. Down a few hundred dollars in the process and its been a few weeks (as expected with LH and Funnel). HOWEVER, I have 4 appointments set and if I just sell ONE policy i will 4x what ive put into it! If I sell two (which i hope to do in my next appointment today) then I will have so much more profit and I can scale my leads and my income from there! 🚀🌔
