11 contributions to AI Software Builders: MakerAI
Intro Post
Hi everyone, my name is Jacob. I'm from Queens, New York and I'm building an online business in the language learning nice. I have an idea for an app I want to build and I'm hoping that the knowledge that I get here will help me make that a reality.

Welcome Jacob! Language learning is a great niche for a first app, real demand and tons of angles for AI features. Head to the Classroom tab and start with Ai Software Academy, it walks you from idea to launched app step by step. And when you've got your idea sketched out, post it here for feedback. Glad to have you in!

I am very excited about joining this amazing community. I just joined and already have my first app published. Just making one more final tweak before I move to the next phase.

Huge congrats Charlotte, publishing your first app in your first week is exactly how it's done! 🥳 I left some credit-saving tips on your Lovable question too. Keep us posted on that final tweak.
🚀 Quick Question for Those Building Client Projects with Lovable
Who here is currently using Lovable to build software, websites, or apps for clients? I’m exploring the best way to structure my subscription so I can build efficiently, serve multiple clients, and make the most of my credits without burning through them too quickly. I’d love to hear: ✨ Which Lovable plan are you currently using? ✨ Which plan has worked best for client projects? ✨ How many projects are you realistically able to build with your monthly credits? ✨ What strategies help you avoid wasting credits during testing, revisions, and troubleshooting? ✨ Do you upgrade only when needed, or has a higher-tier plan been more cost-effective? I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone using Lovable to build revenue-generating products or client solutions consistently. What plan would you recommend for someone preparing to build for multiple clients—and why? 👇🏽💻🔥
🚀 Quick Question for Those Building Client Projects with Lovable

Great question Charlotte, and congrats on shipping your first app already. A few things that stretch credits a long way on any plan: 1) Write one detailed prompt instead of five vague ones. Most wasted credits come from regenerate loops, so spec the feature fully (what it does, where it lives, edge cases) before you hit send. 2) Keep one project per client, and ask Lovable to test its own work (sign-up flow, delivery, functionality) before you do manual revision rounds. That catches bugs in one pass instead of three. 3) Do your experimenting in a sandbox project, never inside client builds. On plan choice: start on the entry paid tier, track what one full client build actually costs you in credits, and upgrade only when real client work hits the cap. Then the higher tier pays for itself instead of being a guess. Would love to hear what you build for your first clients!

So pumped you're here. This is the #1 community in the world for building real software businesses using AI and I mean that. Whether you have an idea already or have no clue what to build yet, you are in the right place. We're going to help you go from zero to a launched, revenue-generating software business using AI with zero coding required. Here's your game plan to get started right now: ✅ Step 1: Download the Skool App (Apple or Android). Search for "Build Software with AI" and join us inside. ✅ Step 2: Create your Welcome Post! Introduce yourself, share your name, where you're from, and what industry you're thinking of building in. I personally comment on every single one. 👀 ✅ Step 3: Go to getmakerai.com and start your first project. Pick an industry, let AI generate your idea, validate it, and get your full build guide. All in one place. ✅ Step 4: Head to the Classroom. That's where you'll find the full step-by-step training walking you through the complete MakerAI system: - How to find a validated software idea - How to build it using AI tools like Lovable and Base44 - How to get your first paying customers ✅ Step 5: Check the Calendar for upcoming coaching calls with me and Stefan. This is where we go deep on building and marketing your software live. https://www.skool.com/aivibecoding/calendar 💬 The more you post, engage, and share your wins, the faster you level up and unlock access to prizes and private chat. This community is special. The people in here are actually building. Drop your intro post below and let's get to work. Let's build. 🚀

@Ron Thurber that link is working as intended, it points to Lovable (the AI build tool we use) through Jonathan's referral, while the MakerAI platform itself lives at getmakerai.com. On your video access, I've been helping you in your DMs, check the chat icon at the top right when you get a moment. Short version: your courses were unlocked, and you have two Skool accounts under your name so make sure you're logged into the one where the courses show. We're also tracing your original order so we can link everything to the right email. Reply to my DM and we'll get you fully sorted.

@Brent Ray Love it Brent, welcome aboard! The live demo is the best place to start, grab your spot at getmakerai.com/jm and bring your questions. Any time you get stuck, post here or DM me.
DfY funnel
Are there done for you funnels for affiliates?

Hey Alan, good question. Yes, as an affiliate you promote with ready-made funnels. When you sign up through our affiliate portal you get your own tracking links that point at the existing MakerAI pages (like the free webinar training), so the funnel, checkout and follow-up emails are already built and running. Your job is just sending traffic to your link. The team is also putting together fresh email swipes for affiliate promos right now, so more promo material is on the way. If you're set up as an affiliate already, grab your links in the portal; if not, DM me and I'll point you to the signup.
