When Did you Last Sail? Photos?
Where was your most recent sail — even if it was only a short passage. Where did you go? What happened? I’d love to see some photos. Last time I sailed was in November for my Coastal Skipper with Bourne to Sail and @Craig Coupe . Headed up to the Solent from Eastbourne and had some nice down wind action on the way back in some meaty sea - if I recall I think it was F6 - F7. Also did what was for me my most challenging and choppy entrance into Brighton Marina 🤣 Definitely not the easiest one done. Good times.

@Graeme Willis and you smashed it! Was a great week and some meaty seas coming back- touched force 8 near the head and big seas!
Sail Around Britain?
@Craig Coupe is arranging 7 legs aboard his fully coded Sigma 38 from Eastbourne this spring and it’s going to be epic. Do one leg or do them all, either way, you’ll rack up some decent miles and learn a lot. If anyone wants in I’ll drop the link in the comments. Leg 1-May 3rd - May 10th Eastbourne to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne (3 Spaces) Leg 2- May 10th - May 17th Newcastle-Upon-Tyne to Inverness (3 Spaces) Leg 3- May 17th - May 24th Inverness- Oban (Via the Caledonian canal) (4 Spaces) Leg 4 - May 24th - May 31st Oban - Rhu (4 Spaces) Leg 5 - May 31st - 7th June - Rhu - Milford Haven (4 Sapces) Leg 6 -June 7th - June 14th - Milford Haven - Plymouth (4 Spaces) Leg 7 June 14th- June 21st - Plymouth - Eastbourne (4 Spaces) Cheers, G

You’re officially one of the founding crew 👊 Thanks for jumping in early — I don't take that lightly. So keep your eyes peeled because there is a giveaway incoming 🎁 This community is for ordinary sailors — the kind of people who love the sea, want to get better, and sail more. First things first - read and acknowledge the short manifesto to finalise your membership. There’s no ego here. No judgement. No gatekeeping. Just good people who want to learn, explore, and have each others backs. To kick things off, drop a comment below with three quick things: 1️⃣ Where do you sail (or want to sail)? Coast, harbour, lake — everything counts. 2️⃣ What’s one skill you want to improve this year? Big or small: docking, passage planning, anchoring - it all counts. 3️⃣ What’s a sailing adventure you’d love to take on someday? Channel crossing? Exploring Scotland? Something simple but meaningful? Let’s get to know each other and start building something awesome. Fair winds — and welcome aboard. P.S Skool has iPhone and Android apps, which makes levelling up with The Ordinary Sailors quick and convenient.
