Book Recommendations
Hi, I'm new here and would like to know if anyone has any book recommendations? I have been on the journey to finding the truth to the questions I think we all have... Since a little girl I have been drawn to shamanism, spirit, and anything considered "Taboo" by others. I'm here to learn and grow. Does anyone have a book or books that they consider changed their life or impacted them on their journey? Any recommendations for books on shamanism? Thank you 💕

Autumn Scents
The traditional herbs and woods of late autumn—rowan, mugwort, cedar, pine, copal, and myrrh. They are protective, grounding, and have atmospheric properties of seasonal scents and smoke traditions. What smells, scents, or natural elements immediately make autumn feel real to you?

I really love this particular season, Fall. Mugwort is a plant that called out to me, and I dived in learning more about it. Had never worked with it before. I like the smell and have it hanging in my room, also have it in a dream pillow. Made tea and tincture with it also.

This was an excellent episode! Thank you, the step-by-step guide really helped me understand how to do this.
The Power of Silence
The historical practice of serving a silent meal with a place set for those who came before. This allowed presence and stillness to open space for deeper intuition and honoring memory. How do you practice stillness or quiet reflection during busy seasonal shifts?

This is beautiful. Never heard of this before now, the silent meal but look forward to honoring those who came before me this season and try this. I take time at night before bed to calm my mind and meditate. This is my time for reflection.
Extinguishing Old Embers
Traditional Samhain involved extinguishing the hearth fires in every home and rekindling them from a single central ceremonial flame. This was the symbolic reset of clearing out stale energy, old habits, and mental clutter before winter sets in. If you could symbolically extinguish one habit or belief this week, what would it be?

Sorry this is so long.. I have tried meditating on going back to the exact time or moments this belief started or where it came from. But most of my childhood experiences are blocked or just black.. hard to uncover. So I did try hypothesis session with a nice lady and was able to recover an experience I had as a child. In that experience I forgave myself and the other people who had a hand in the trauma that I incurred. I was also able to relive the experience and change the way things happened. This was very helpful and my life did change after this. It was very healing. But still a work in progress.. layer by layer 💕
