For the East Coast, there are Special Weather Statements about low humidity and a Small Craft Advisory. In the Northern Midwest, there are Flash Flood Warnings and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. In the rest of the Midwest, there are Tornado Watches and Tornado Warnings, as well as Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and Flash Flood Warnings. In the Rockies, we have Red Flag Warnings, Fire Weather Watches, and Freeze Watches. And finally, on the West Coast, we have Winter Storm Warnings, Freeze Warnings/Watches, and Wind Advisories. This is the current weather for 4/15/26 at 22:58 PM or 10:58 PM CDT

@David OHara It would make sense since the uk is surrounded by water, though I'm curious on how many hurricanes the uk gets in a month during hurricane season.

alright, cool, but you still get (a)n amount of rain to cause some floodings I'd assume.
prize draw
I know it's early, but I wish everyone the best of luck for the prize draw also what's nice is that it will happen a day after my birthday.

I'm more of a warm type person, I always stay under at least 5 blankets, and I'd be there for hours. When anyone else gets underneath the blankets it's like an oven, also the heat from inside the blankets radiates out into my room keeping it warm.

at like 7-8 p.m. St. Louis had a storm go through and on the radar that I use (weatherwise) they put out a mesoscale discussion (talking about tornadoes, heavy rain, etc) and it was a 5% chance for a tornado watch to be issued, but since I've studied the radar for over 2 years I've learned 40% or less it won't happen, 45% means it might happen, but unlikely, and 60% or more means it will happen, and at the time I was in the direct path of the thunderstorm, but at least at 5 in the morning the next day (today) i was hit with some heavy rain and some lighting but earlier (4 in the morning) there was thunder.
