Well I’ll put myself out there. Still working on that kipping RMU Travis. I took time to work on my strength over the past few months. My ring dips are back and I’ve been working a lot of false grip holds. This video is one of my last attempts in early September looking back my shoulder was not 100% so that’s probably some of the tentativeness. Getting close to trying again as I am stronger now. What do you see?
Training the Butterfly Chest-To-Bar Pull-Up
I just posted this video to @Chase Chastain's post (as BFly C2B is what he's currently working on) and thought it might be a good video share for the group. Would you guys watch the video and tell me your thoughts? What questions come to mind when you watch this? I like this a lot; wish I had this when I was learning butterfly CTB. It makes sense and seems like it would develop the strength a bit more and the body awareness. I learned by doing a lot of singles and finally getting the strength and the rhythm. Questions that come to mind - how do you train to get your chest to make contact with the bar, how do you develop the rhythm to get your chest to brush the bar on the way down, how do you develop the rhythm to string them together. But if I was just learning this would help along with doing singles.

I'm an advocate for working smarter and not harder. You can make literally ANYTHING more difficult, in life or sport, but learning how to do things with ease and grace is something no muscle can beat out. This is a short take on how momentum can help move your muscle-up. There are many more details I would like to discuss about this concept in the future... I’m interested in more. Am definitely the person that thinks big swings for both bar and rings and it doesn’t end efficiently.
New Butterfly PU (Descending) Drill

Holding the half pull up was hard for me. I can feel and see the benefit of this drill. Would you get same effect with straight arms? However great to build the awareness here are my tries
