Yesterday, I both started and ended the day with an ugly cry. Full tears, full body weep, full emotional throws; I woke up early, before the kids, to grief I apparently needed to release... My dream just prior had me begging each family member of origin to love me (this is an older brother, a younger sister, both parents, two grandmothers, and finally ending with my beloved grandpa and his wife). Each time, I gave them my full heart, and slowly, one by one, they refused it. Each rejection represented a dagger I have lived in real time, but I guess in my dream, I was only only meant to re-live the emotional part (or perhaps really FEEL it as real for the first time). When it finally came down to my grandpa, a fun-loving Gemini who has had the capacity to understand me as an Aquarius, and whom I remember having really deep conversations with at 5 years old about time and space, and who seemingly always delighted in my thoughts, I gave it my all in a plead for love so heartfelt, but also so painfully desperate... In my dreams, I begged him to let me love him, and for him to choose me back, and without saying much, he simply shook his head NO. Without arguing, I bowed, respected his decision, and though I was incredibly sad, it wasn't all surprising... I guess I always knew this was where he stood, kind of thing. But what was my undoing to the flood gates that opened when I woke up, was that on my way up the stairs and out of their house, I heard his wife say to him, "wow, she really took forever to leave...", and he agreed with her. I cried in my dreams sobs that never seemed to end, and in the same moment, I was on a mountainous hike, and all of the hikers moved out of my way, scared of me... as I hiked and cried, each one looked at me like I was a disgusting or confusing troll, sans comfort, all rejection. I ended up at a bus stop, just prior to waking up with a body soaked in grief, and I found myself inpatient to get on the bus. Instead of boarding the bus to ANYWHERE GET ME THE FUCK OUT OF HERE, I was stuck behind a passenger who was doing some slight-of-hand card trick for the driver, as he was giving him his bus ticket... In my heartbreak, I just wanted to find my seat and cry, but I had to watch these two unfortunate looking men jovially chatting about something really stupid and probably really dumb... quit with your banter and let me on the bus...
