🌬️ He Is the Air I Breathe
If you’ve ever stopped for a moment to take a deep breath — really feel the air fill your lungs — you know what life itself feels like. That quiet, steady rhythm that keeps us going without even thinking about it. That’s how God is with us. He’s not just a part of our lives… He is the very breath that sustains them. “In Him we live and move and have our being.” – Acts 17:28 We depend on Him the way our lungs depend on oxygen — continuously, completely, and often without realizing how vital He truly is. Every inhale is His gift. Every exhale is our opportunity to give praise back. 🌤️ When Life Feels Heavy There are days when we forget to breathe spiritually — when worry, exhaustion, and fear weigh on our chest. In those moments, God doesn’t shame us. He simply says, “Come. Rest in Me. Let Me fill you again.” When we take time to breathe Him in — through prayer, worship, stillness, or Scripture — we let His Spirit renew us. His peace replaces panic. His presence steadies our hearts. 💬 Today’s Reflection: Ask yourself: - Have I been spiritually holding my breath? - Where do I need to let God breathe life back into me? - What does it look like for me to truly depend on Him — in my thoughts, my choices, my pace? “The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” – Job 33:4 Today, let’s walk in awareness that He is the air we breathe. Every heartbeat, every breath, every moment is grace. Take a deep breath right now — and thank Him for being the One who gives you life, sustains your spirit, and fills your soul with peace. 👇 Share below: How has God reminded you lately that He’s still the air you breathe?

I caught a very bad as sinus & respiratory virus last week. It was very difficult to breath in through my nose and my chest. I had to give it all to Him! I have bad allergies and asthma plus my adrenals don't work so getting respiratory issues is scary for me. But He knows the number of my days and I choose to trust Him. The hard part is that my husband and I were supposed to celebrate my 72nd birthday this weekend and now all plans are cancelled.
🙌 Testimony Tuesday – Let’s Celebrate What God Has Done!
Every week is full of ups, downs, challenges, and surprises. But through it all, God is faithful. Testimonies remind us that He is still moving, still speaking, and still showing up in ways big and small. “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” – Revelation 12:11 💬 Today’s Prompt: Take a moment to reflect on the past week: - Where did you see God’s hand at work? - Was there a prayer answered, even in a small way? - Did you feel His peace in the middle of chaos? - Or did you simply notice His presence in your daily walk? Your testimony doesn’t have to be dramatic to be powerful. Sometimes the smallest victories carry the greatest encouragement. ✨ When you share, you’re not just remembering what God did for you—you’re reminding someone else that He can do it for them too. 👇 Drop your testimony below, and let’s build up each other’s faith today!

I saw a long time prayer answered! It was a miracle! God broke through a really seemingly impossible situation in my life. He proved He is loving and faithful!
Thankful and Thriving Today
Being thankful is more than just saying thank you when something good happens. It’s a posture of the heart. Gratitude is the lens that helps us see God’s goodness, even in the ordinary and even in the trials. But let’s be real… sometimes we slip into thinking: “I’m a Christian, I’m following God—shouldn’t life be easier? Shouldn’t I be blessed with more?” It’s easy to start feeling entitled to pleasures, comforts, and privileges. And when life feels hard, we might even find ourselves questioning God. Here’s the truth: 👉 When we walk closely with God, our focus shifts. We aren’t consumed with material things. Disappointments and challenges don’t sting the same way because we know where our joy truly comes from. 👉 It’s like being in a new relationship—the “honeymoon phase” where everything feels exciting and fresh. Except with God, that wonder never fades. His love continues to amaze us. The more we draw near, the more thankful we become, and the more we thrive. ✨ Community Reflection: What’s one thing in your life right now that you’re genuinely thankful for—something that has nothing to do with material possessions? Drop it below ⬇️ Let’s fill this space with gratitude and remind one another of the countless ways God keeps us thriving, even when life gets tough.

🔥 Today’s Big Question: Are We Loving God… or Just Loving What He Gives Us?
It’s easy to praise God when life feels good — when prayers are answered, blessings are flowing, and doors are opening. But here’s the hard question: If nothing changed in your circumstances — if the blessings stopped, the prayers seemed unanswered, and life got harder — would you still love Him the same? Sometimes, without realizing it, we slip into loving God for what He does for us, instead of loving Him for who He is. But real faith says: “Even if the fig tree does not blossom… yet I will rejoice in the Lord.” (Habakkuk 3:17-18) 💬 Your turn: - How do you keep your love for God strong in seasons where He feels silent? - Have you ever realized your relationship with Him was based more on blessings than on devotion? We can all use a heart check. God’s desire isn’t just to bless us… it’s to be with us. And that’s worth more than anything He could ever give. ❤️

I am in a season where God feels silent. I keep speaking His Word out loud and look to bible stories like when King Jehoshaphat was surrounded by enemies. He praised God for who God is and asked others to pray & fast with him. God fought the battle for him! I, likewise, expect God to fight for me. I also, bring to mind other times God has been there for me.

🌞 Sunday Church Takeaway – Let’s Share the Overflow
Church may be over for the day… but the message? It’s still alive, still stirring, and still working in our hearts. Sometimes the best part of Sunday isn’t just the sermon—it’s what happens when we take it with us into the rest of the week. That’s where transformation happens. That’s where faith grows roots. 💬 Let’s do something special today: Think about your moment from church today. It might be… - 🙌 A worship song that lifted the weight off your shoulders - 📖 A scripture that hit you like a personal letter from God - 💡 A truth that challenged you to think differently - ❤️ A story that reminded you you’re seen, loved, and never alone Don’t keep it to yourself—share it here. You never know who might need to hear the same encouragement that touched you. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…” – Colossians 3:16 ✨ Today’s Challenge: After you share, read through a few others’ takeaways and leave a comment or encouragement. Let’s make this thread a place overflowing with hope, faith, and joy—so we can all walk into Monday full of the Word. 👇 Drop your Sunday takeaway below—just a sentence or a whole story. Either way, your words could be the blessing someone’s been praying for.

Our verses were about counting it all joy when we are tried and what that actually means. It doesn't mean we are happy to be suffering but the trials refine us and God is always good and understands. We need to come along side and sympathize with people in trials.
