You don’t rise to your goals. You fall to your standards.
Today wasn’t perfect. Work ran long. Energy was low. And I still showed up. That’s the work most people skip — showing up without hype, without motivation, without applause. This is how identity is built. Not when it’s convenient. Not when it feels aligned. But when your standards decide for you. If you’re waiting to feel ready, you’re already behind. Move first. Feel later. What standard did you refuse to negotiate today? I am at the gym even with low energy. What’s yours? 👇 Drop it

Day 11 Late Post
I finished overtime today and almost skipped posting. Old me would’ve said “I’ll post tomorrow.” New standard: I show up even when it’s inconvenient. Raising your standards isn’t about motivation. It’s about identity. Winners don’t wait for perfect conditions. They move tired. They move late. They move anyway. If today wasn’t clean, don’t spiral. Just close the loop. What’s one thing you still did today even though you were cooked? ⬇️ Drop it below

Bring it back to NOW
A lot of energy gets wasted replaying: - what already happened - what might happen - what should’ve gone differently None of that moves today forward. RYS is built by bringing attention back to now — the only place action actually exists. Right now: - breathe - feel your body - notice what’s in front of you - do the next right thing You don’t need clarity for the next year. You need presence for the next hour. When attention stays in the present: - anxiety drops - overthinking quiets - decisions get cleaner - standards become easier to keep Today’s reminder: The past can’t be fixed. The future doesn’t need to be controlled. Now is enough. Today’s action: - Put your feet on the ground - Take one slow breath - Identify the next task - Do it without rushing Comment below with one thing you’re handling right now — calmly, fully, without distraction. Standards live in the present.
Day 9 Competence Isn’t Enough. Visibility Matters.
I read something today on facebook that hit. It was about why the wrong people often get promoted over the most competent ones. The common factor wasn’t skill. It was visibility. Not loudness. Not ego. Not self-promotion. Visibility!! Being seen: - showing up consistently - communicating clearly - letting your work be known - being present in the room - not hiding in the background A lot of competent people stay invisible because: - they don’t want attention - they assume hard work speaks for itself - they don’t want to look like they’re “selling themselves” But here’s the truth: If you’re invisible, you’re unconsidered. Raising your standards isn’t just about doing good work — it’s about allowing your work to be seen. Visibility done right isn’t ego. It’s responsibility. If you don’t represent yourself: - someone less capable will - and they’ll take the opportunity Today’s reminder: You don’t need to be louder. You need to be clearer and present. Today’s action: Ask yourself: Where am I doing good work but staying hidden? Where could I speak up once instead of staying silent?Where could I make my contribution visible without forcing it? Comment below with one area where you’ll stop hiding and start being seen — calmly, professionally, consistently. Standards include visibility

Day 8 Some Days Are Grind. Some Days Are Reset
Some days are rise and grind. Other days are rise and ground. Today’s Australia Day — public holiday for me. No rushing. No forcing. Coffee. Breathing space. Letting the body settle before the week ahead. Raising your standards doesn’t mean pushing every single day. It means knowing when to apply pressure and when to integrate. Mondays are usually grind days. Today is a reset day — and that’s still discipline. Presence is productive. Rest is strategic. If you struggle to slow down without guilt, that’s something worth noticing. Today’s question: Where in your life do you need less force and more awareness? Enjoy the day. We build again tomorrow
