Hey! I'm gonna assume you know who I am if you're in this academy, but this post can serve as an example for the introductions. My name is Colby, and I'm an 18 year old artist from Canada, who is currently living in New Zealand. So far I have released two solo albums, and I am currently working on my third, which is a concept album about my own personal journey to discover what truly brings me fulfillment. Hey friend, welcome to Songwriter's Academy! Most people who want to write songs and make music, start out with an interest and a desire to pursue it, but when it starts to get hard, they decide to quit because they feel they just can't beat writer's block. Believe me, making music can be hard and frustrating, but there is so much beauty in pursuing your passion if you are committed to it. In Songwriter's Academy, you will have everything you need to overcome writer's block and start to see success on your musical journey. Here you have access to a community of like minded songwriters, who are all working towards the same goal. Before you get started, it'd be great if you could take some time to write an introductory post about yourself, so we can all get to know you. In the community post tab, you'll see a section that’s called “Introductions”. You don't have to write a full novel, but just introduce yourself with these three details and you're welcome to write more if you'd like. 1. You're name 2. Where you're from 3.
