My wife and I got married back in 2020, and a few months later moved out to Arizona from Indiana for work. We absolutely fell in love with the place. Everything from the outdoors, to the weather, to our local church. It felt like a permanent vacation in many ways. During our time there though, we quickly realized how greatly the cost of living went up, even gas going from $2.80-$5.80 at one point, and housing becoming more and more out of reach. The politics of the area were also becoming less friendly towards those of the Christian faith. Many of our church friends were under the same sentiment and were looking for places to relocate to, even though some had long roots in the valley. Unfortunately with many of these families, although they were able to seek greener pastures in lower cost states, the due diligence of pairing that research with looking for solid churches left them either church homeless, or in compromise of their doctrinal values. We recently just moved back to Indiana to be close to family and by the providence of God, were able to find a church about an hour from where we live. I had only wished for myself and the many others I witnessed go through the struggles of relocating without a solid plan that a platform was available that mixes the best of church viability, housing, safety, schooling, and other factors. We want to see families begin to rethink how and why they move, and build stronger local churches and communities for generations. We at True North pray that this platform does just that
