⚙️ Build Smarter, Not Longer — The 80/20 Prototype Rule
Most people waste time building because they skip the plan. The pros? They flip it: 80% planning, 20% building. That’s how you move faster without rebuilding three times. 💡 Your Game Plan: - Pick ONE idea. (Task tracker, lead capture, proposal generator—keep it simple.) - Map it out: - * Frontend: what users see - * Backend: what makes it run - * Database: where data lives (even local storage counts) - Prep before you build. Write your PM prompt. Sketch your flow. Then build in hours, not days. - Design smart. Few colors, clean spacing, clear text, instant feedback. - Test like a stranger. Open in incognito—if it makes sense instantly, you nailed it. Visit Classroom Day 26 for demo, slides and written guide instructions. 🚀 Takeaway: Better prep = better builds. When you slow down to plan, you speed up results—and your prototypes feel intentional, not accidental. 💬 Quick challenge: What’s one small change in your planning process that saved you time (or sanity) this week? Drop it below 👇

A powerful message! Good preparation is half the battle won!💪 I do approach life a lot like this, as well the community we are building. In the past I used to try to do everything quickly because of thinking I had to perform. Now I slow down to first think well what that means, and to take a very decent amount of time to plan and think things through. The same goes for trusting in that process and having lots of patience instead of it all needing to be perfect in the first iteration.

@Jenni Lynn Love that, approaching it intentionally rather than randomly!

What makes Lovable stand out from other site builders? There is so many (too many if you'd ask me) options out there!

@Jhoanna Rius Thanks for the explanation, I feel like that's the USP of more and more site builders so if that's the main difference I would personally not be convinced yet 🤭😜
Experience with AI
I have almost not experience with AI and its not something I've explored BUT I did a thing today!! OK it was really small and extremely boring, but it was a thing I had a crochet pattern written in American (they use different names etc) My friend here in French had asked if I would translate it into French for her because she wanted to do one for her granddaughter. I said yes but was a little, well, lost. I tried and got a bit confused because I haven't made one for over two years. Then I thought! I could ask AI!! So I asked Perplexity if they could take the pattern and translate it to French crochet terms. WOW it took seconds It was ALL correct My friend loved it!! Big gold star for me, AND I did a thing using AI

💤 Day 21 Is Taking a Power Nap 😴
Hey everyone! Quick update — Day 21 of our AI Bite-Sized Learning series will be posted tomorrow. I know, I know… the suspense is real. 😅But between juggling work, projects, and about 17 open tabs in my brain 🧠💻— today officially called “time out.” So, instead of forcing half-baked brilliance, I’m letting Day 21 marinate overnight (and maybe letting me recharge too). Promise: it’s worth the wait — fresh, sharp, and full of “aha” moments. 💡 Until then, tell me… what’s your go-to move when your brain hits the “system overload” screen? 🫠👇

Great idea to take a proper time-out and recharge. I needed one yesterday, badly.😅 Went outside for hours and came back home as if a new day just started!💪
What colour is your tongue?
Came across this interesting article today! 🤪 TD;DR: Traditional Chinese Medicine has long used tongue colour and texture to assess health. Now researchers are merging this ancient practice with AI. A 2024 study using standardized lighting and machine learning analyzed over 5,000 tongue images, achieving 96.6% accuracy in predicting conditions like diabetes, anemia, asthma, and even COVID severity. The challenge has always been subjectivity and lighting variation, but new systems use controlled LED kiosks to capture consistent images. Researchers found correlations such as: - White tongue: possible iron deficiency - Bluish-yellow coating: diabetes - Purple/fatty layer: certain cancers - Deeper red hues: more severe COVID While promising, experts warn that tongue color alone isn’t enough for diagnosis, AI tongue analysis should complement, not replace, other medical tools. I wonder what it would tell me after I have had a curry? 😅

Didn't have a clue about this! Some of these colours seem quite alarming. A curry would definitely have some effects too haha!
