@Ericka Sherrod Ericka, this is such a mature and Spirit-led perspective. ❤️ One of the greatest tests of leadership is choosing to love people even when discernment reveals things that could easily offend or disappoint us. Here are a thoughts to encourage you: Separate the person from the behavior. See people through the eyes of Christ. We can address actions without withdrawing our love for the individual. You’re growing in one of the most powerful qualities of Christlike leadership: leading with truth and love. Keep allowing the Holy Spirit to shape your heart, and He will continue to give you the wisdom to love people well while walking in discernment. 💕

@Chelsea Neal Chelsea, thank you for your honesty! So many leaders can relate to this. Delegation isn’t a sign that you’re losing control—it’s a sign that you’re building others. Great leaders don’t just accomplish the work; they develop people who can carry the vision alongside them. One tip: when delegating responsibility give clear expectations, trust the process, and allow others the opportunity to grow. Remember, they may not do it exactly the way you would, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t done well. Keep leading with wisdom and grace. As you empower others, you’ll create a stronger team and free yourself to focus on the things only you can do. You’re growing into an even greater leader! 💕
LeadHERship Tip: Lead by Example
Leading by example means living out what you speak, teach, or preach. Your life should become the evidence of your message. People may listen to what you say, but they will ultimately be influenced by what they consistently see you do. True leadership isn’t built on titles, positions, or popularity. It’s built on credibility. When your actions align with your words, you build trust. When you demonstrate integrity, humility, faithfulness, and consistency, you give others a model they can confidently follow. As leaders, we should never ask others to do something we are unwilling to do ourselves. If we teach prayer, we should be people of prayer. If we encourage excellence, our work should reflect excellence. If we preach forgiveness, we should be quick to forgive. If we expect commitment, we should model commitment. The Apostle Paul understood this principle when he wrote, “Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). Paul wasn’t pointing people to himself; he was pointing them to a life that reflected Christ. Likewise, our goal as leaders is to become living examples that inspire others to follow Jesus. Remember, your greatest leadership lesson is not always found in your words. It’s found in your daily choices, your attitude, your character, and your consistency. Someone is always watching, learning, and being shaped by the example you set. Reflection: If someone followed my example for the next 30 days, would they become a stronger follower of Christ and a better leader?
Leading with Love
True leadership isn’t measured by position. It’s revealed by how we love people. When we lead with patience, kindness, humility, and compassion, we reflect the heart of Christ. Love builds trust, strengthens teams, and leaves a lasting legacy. Scripture: “Let all that you do be done with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14 Bible Example: Jesus Christ demonstrated the greatest example of leadership through love. He served His disciples, washed their feet, and ultimately gave His life for others. His leadership reminds us that the strongest leaders are those who choose to serve in love. Are you leading with love?

Who are you leading?
At the end of each week, take inventory. Who did you encourage? Who did you develop? Who did you help move forward? Leadership is influence. If no one is following, growing, or benefiting from your guidance, it’s time to evaluate how you’re leading. The Apostle Paul understood the importance of multiplying leaders: “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2 As leaders, we are called to invest in others, develop others, and help others grow. Leadership is not just about accomplishing tasks—it’s about making an impact in people. This week, ask yourself: Who am I intentionally pouring into? Don’t just measure your success by what you’ve achieved. Measure it by the lives you’ve influenced. Lead with purpose. Lead with impact. Lead someone.

Do you Lead with Confidence?
Leading with Confidence is not believing you can do everything. Confidence is believing that God is with you in everything He has called you to do. Many women hesitate because they feel they need more experience, more approval, or more certainty before stepping out. But biblical confidence comes from knowing who called you; not just what you’re called to do. When God called Esther she didn’t have all the answers. Yet she moved forward because she trusted the One who had placed her in the position she was in. Be bold and confidence in the ONE that you carry on the inside of you. Know that Jesus is with you and He will see you through it. Leadership Truth:Confidence grows through obedience. Every step of faith strengthens your ability to lead boldly. Scripture:“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) LeadHERship Challenge:Identify one decision, conversation, or opportunity you’ve been delaying because of fear. Take one action step today and trust God with the outcome.
