Has anyone here implemented WhatsApp Coexistence (keeping the existing WhatsApp number while connecting it to the Cloud API)? I’m currently building a 24/7 AI WhatsApp agent using Claude Code (not n8n), handling the backend logic myself and deploying it directly. I’m exploring the coexistence setup, where a business keeps using their existing WhatsApp app (community, statuses, manual replies, etc.) while also connecting it to the official Cloud API for automation in the background. I have a few technical questions regarding setup, limitations, and real-world behavior (message sync, latency, edge cases, conversation ownership, etc.). I feel like I’m going in circles with the implementation and would really appreciate feedback from someone who has actually deployed this in production.
