This week I randomly got asked by a friend to do photo/video for his proposal. I have NEVER done anything like this. It was indoors, I didn’t have control over the lighting, and there was no “retakes”. I was anxious as hell but I wanted to challenge myself and the pressure of the moment also motivated me to try to be my best. Butttt that’s not what happened. Things moved fast. It was just me trying to get photo AND video in this moment and I felt like I completely butchered the opportunity. Now, I DID do my best in that moment and I made sure to be super critical in my editing. I just knew my friend was going to be disappointed but something unexpected happened. The work I thought I absolutely butchered brought him and his fiance to tears. They were so happy and grateful. Something I was not expecting at all. Now I know if I put that work in a room of creators, all of you will find something to critique, but we don’t usually work for creators. I say that because many of us second guess our work, not realizing that we are good enough to be paid for this. We may not be the best in our field, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t bring value through our expertise thus far. Keep growing. Keep grinding team!

Lately I’ve been writing goals for 2026. As I sat, I realized just how long you have to commit to really build the life or the thing you’re going after. I would love for my business to be at 6-figures tomorrow, but the truth is I wouldn’t be ready for it. I think there’s a blessing in the grind. The ups and downs teach you valuable lessons along the way so that when that big opportunity hits, you’re READY for it. All that to say, keep grinding team. Finish 2025 strong and let’s hit the new year swinging! 💪🏾

We all love consuming content, ideas, reels, inspiration, motivation. But at some point, we have to be honest with ourselves: consumption doesn’t build anything… creation does. You don’t grow by saving more ideas. You grow by repeating the actions that move your life forward. This is a call to step out of the scroll cycle and lean into execution. Create more. Scroll less. Today I created from a place of deep pain. Not performance. Not practice. Just emotion. The insecurity in Nigeria (my country) has been weighing on my heart heavily, children being taken, families living in fear, people not feeling safe in places that should be safe. It’s been sitting in my chest for days. I picked up my camera today because I didn’t know what else to do. I needed to express the heaviness somehow. This video became my prayer, a silent cry for God to protect Nigeria and everyone living in this tension. Some pieces we make because we’re practicing technique… but this one, I made because my heart needed to speak. God protect Nigeria.
