Legato/ Speed work exercise
Took a bit of time to get to this speed. Main thing is it could be smoother/ more efficient still, I really need to work more on the technique you showed on the way down (using my finger instead of the pick). But I’ll keep working on it!

Well done. I think Christian was pretty right about where you go with your development and also kudos for practicing legato with a metronome. You're gonna save yourself a lot of trouble in the future by doing this from the start. :)
Haven't looped in a while
Wanted to practice my timing and play something live without any overdubs, and what’s better for that than a looper pedal? 😁 If your timing is bad, the looper will expose you instantly. How do you usually practice timing and rhythm?

@Nikola Gugoski Man, I love this, super cool stuff. This kind of more progressive odd meter guitar playing is one of my favorite styles.

@Nikola Gugoski only one way to find out ;)
Space guitar Jam
Hello fellow fret board Flyers, This kind of playing might be a bit far-fetched, but I thought it could be interesting to some of you guys here, potentially more in a post-rock, shoegaze style. I grabbed this new plug-in for free, it's by Eventide, the usually make guitar pedals, but this is a digital one. It's basically a reverb that filters frequencies based on the harmonic spectrum that you can choose. And I came up with this little jam today and made a video where I explain how I used it and whatnot. You can grab it here for free. Let me what you think, have a great day. 🤘 https://www.eventideaudio.com/plug-ins/temperance-lite/

@Christian Lie Absolutely. I have to say that these latest new music technologies that I've discovered especially in the domain of computation are really blowing my mind. I grew up with effects doing like static things to sound. Now there are all these different plugins that react, breathe and move dynamically with what I play. Which helps to create something which is my most favorite thing ever, a sound that's barely controlable

@Christian Lie Yeah, the good old pod,I had one of these two, also didn't work. And yeah, I know that one. I've been a fan of Venu theory for quite a while now, especially love his view and honesty on the business side of music

nice one! Tom Morello is one of my favorite guitarists, specifically because of his way of using rhythm.
Steal this tuning
Since Christian and I were talking a bit about alternative guitar tunings in his latest cover, I thought I'd share one of my favorite open tunings with you. Don't ask me how I came up with this one—I don't remember—but it's super fun to try out. It's basically a whole guitar tuned to a power chord, similar to the way Soundgarden did it in "The Day I Tried to Live." On the album Superunknown, they have a tuning which basically from low to high goes E E B B B B. In this one, I also use a power chord, basically playing root, fifth, root, fifth, and then double root. If you try it out, it would be great to see you guys use it as well and jam around with it a bit. Have a nice Sunday.
