Tips on mixing acoustic guitar?
Hey everyone! Does anyone have any tips on mixing acoustic guitar after recording? Thanks 🎶

@Hugh Miller the tip with high passing the guitar is definitely legit however the best thing you can do is train your ears and know how to react to what because at the end of the day you know there's low frequency hum there's hisses there's like piercing frequencies in 3k there is no go-to solution you have to be able to recognize a problem and react to it in my opinion There is a site called Sound Gym, where you can train your ears to recognize spatial distribution, frequencies and differences in decibel. It has been a tremendous help for me in actually becoming a better guitar player, because now I can finally understand or decode what's happening with a guitar recording in amp and whatnot and react accordingly. Here's the link. https://www.soundgym.co/

We love to give it a listen, but for some reason it doesn't play. Does it work with anybody else? Maybe it's my browser
Got to know
I got know if it’s a good idea to start a 1 man band playing worship music by myself

@Shad Theriot Why would it be a bad idea? :) I think especially if it has a spiritual meaning, I would just go for it and embrace the art and the process.
Hey everyone!
Just uploaded this cover yesterday, feel free to let me know what you think! https://youtu.be/IfLsU6yCzUw

@Hugh Miller Super nice playing man. I usually don't listen much to pop but this one really flows nicely and has a great energy. Especially your right hand is super smooth n steady while you play Which is a lifesaver when I'm singing and playing guitar. (know that one from my own gigs haha). The only constructive feedback I would maybe give is to watch out that you arch your ringfinger more in the g chord, makes it smoother to fret but thats a super detailed one. keep up the great sounds ;)
How to pick up and just KNOW what to do
Hey guys. I had played guitar for almost 10 years doing the same - read tabs, learn techniques, repeat. So at my peak, to the untrained ear I sounded like a pro. But I would panic picking up the guitar, not knowing where to start or what to do. Just playing the same dozen songs I had learned to play. What is the best way to teach yourself how to pick up the guitar and just instantly start freestyling? Is it learning music theory, scales, modes? Any recommendations on where to start and what order to learn?

@Sergio Scudieri I d recommend that you start with developing a clear Idea of what you want to be able to do short/mid and long term: What skills do you want, what do wou want to be able to do,what do you want to fix? With that in place you can then develop a practice plan to follow through every time you practice. I personally set upplaybacks for all exercises in my DAW every couple of weeks/months and adapt as I go, that way theres no second guessing just execution. Hope that helps :)
