Tips on mixing acoustic guitar?
Hey everyone! Does anyone have any tips on mixing acoustic guitar after recording? Thanks ๐ŸŽถ

@Hugh Miller the tip with high passing the guitar is definitely legit however the best thing you can do is train your ears and know how to react to what because at the end of the day you know there's low frequency hum there's hisses there's like piercing frequencies in 3k there is no go-to solution you have to be able to recognize a problem and react to it in my opinion There is a site called Sound Gym, where you can train your ears to recognize spatial distribution, frequencies and differences in decibel. It has been a tremendous help for me in actually becoming a better guitar player, because now I can finally understand or decode what's happening with a guitar recording in amp and whatnot and react accordingly. Here's the link. https://www.soundgym.co/
What is the 1 Band or Artist who got you Into Playing Guitar?
Have you ever heard a song so powerful that it changed the course of your life? For me, that moment came when I first listened to Eddie Van Halen Wow!!! Their music resonated with me on a level I never expected, and it sparked a passion that has become a lifelong journey

Iron Maiden. I picked up the guitar thinking, okay, in one year I will be able to play the intro melody to Fear of the Dark and then leave it be. I ended up playing it after two weeks and stopped never since. :)

We love to give it a listen, but for some reason it doesn't play. Does it work with anybody else? Maybe it's my browser
๐ŸŽธWhat Song Are You Working On?๐ŸŽธ
Hey Guitar Enthusiasts! ๐ŸŽถ We all have that one song we're striving to master or just can't stop playing. Whether it's a classic rock anthem, a soulful blues tune, or a new pop hit, we want to hear about it! ๐Ÿ”น Share Your Journey: Tell us what song you're working on and why you chose it. Is it challenging you in new ways, or is it a long-time favorite? ๐Ÿ”น Inspire & Be Inspired: Let's motivate each other to keep strumming and learning. Your progress might just inspire someone else to pick up their guitar today!

Right now it's Strawberry Letter 23 by the Brothers Johnson. I didn't really notice it while listening to a Tarantino playlist until I heard the solo for the first time which completely blew me away and the song has stayed with me ever since. Right now I'm trying to learn it but that solo is a really tough nut to crack so it's a lot of fun to move in microsteps forth and back with it.
Title: "What Song Stopped You in Your Tracks?"
We've all had that moment when a song comes on, and suddenly, everything else fades away. It's like the world hits pause, and you're left in awe, thinking, " What is this? I need to learn how to play that on guitar!" Whether it's the iconic chords of "Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns N' Roses or the mesmerizing fingerpicking of "Blackbird" by The Beatles, these songs have a way of reaching deep into our souls. They inspire us, challenge us, and make us want to capture that magic ourselves. So, which song stopped you in your tracks and made you say, "I have to play this"? ๐ŸŽธโœจ
