Self-Awareness and Presence
As a reminder, 95% of people think they are self-aware. Only 10-15% actually are. Most think that they are because they see themselves as reflective and introspective but that’s only 1/2 of self-awareness. (Internal Self-awareness) External Self-Awareness: How we impact others. That’s presence. Presence isn’t about being sharp dressed and well spoken. Those things are important. Presence is about how we make others feel when we are around them. Are we uplifting our teams and our peers. Presence is the missing ingredient. Take a look at your Presence today. How are you showing up with your entire team?

Self-Awareness and Presence
One Uncomfortable Thing
What’s 1 thing you can do this week to stretch yourself. Build that neuroplasticity to do hard or uncomfortable things?

@Tiffany Witherington I feel your pain. I’m having to wake up 30 min earlier to do exactly that. πŸ˜₯

Journal prompts: Self-Awareness
Self-Awareness Journal Prompts Self-awareness is the foundation of conscious leadership. When you slow down to reflect, you start to see the gap between the leader you are today and The Future You you want to become. Use these prompts to dig deeper into your thoughts and behaviors. Write honestly and without judgmentβ€”this is for you. Prompt 1: The Mask and the Mirror What part of myself do I show to others (my β€œpersona”), and what part do I tend to hide? - Where does this come up most often, in my leadership, at home, or socially? - How does hiding that part of me impact my relationships or effectiveness as a leader? Prompt 2: The Gap Between Intention and Perception When was the last time I received feedback that surprised me, and what did it teach me about how others experience me as a leader? - Did I dismiss the feedback, or did I lean into it? - If I’m honest, what truth did it reveal that I hadn’t seen in myself? Prompt 3: The Future You Which of my daily habits or default reactions may be holding me back from becoming The Future Me I want to step into? - What would change if I chose one of those habits to shift? - How would The Future Me handle this differently? Remember: Self-awareness is not about judgment, it’s about clarity. The clearer you are about yourself, the more freedom you create to lead with purpose, connection, and impact.

@Gracie Osborn we can help you say something other than that statement. But yes, boundaries are important. Frustrating when it feels like it’s falling on your shoulders.
