Work Slow ?
Fix the stuff you ignore when you’re busy ! Slow season = business cleanup season Update your website . Tighten up your Google Profile. Market your business while all your competitors are sleeping. Post daily and stay top of mind to potential customers in the future . Ask for reviews from previous customers that may have forgotten to do so . Here are just a few things to work on to keep you busy and moving forward while everyone else waits on the phone to ring. Don’t get caught sleeping . Don’t let the hungrier guy slip in and “be the next guy”. Be consistent, stay consistent the wash season is just around the corner !

Commercial Leads
Do you have a marketing plan this year for commercial leads ? Or are we just waiting on the phone to ring ? Commercial Projects are highly sought after because of the bigger ticket but you need to make sure you are ACTUALLY MAKING MONEY. I have found it that most companies will undercut a price just to get the job simply because of the larger lump sum . Instead of quoting based off other quotes to undercut, quote for the health of YOUR company . I had found it many times that I would be better off cleaning houses than seeking commercial work trying to attain corporates budget. Throwing your schedule aside to entertain a commercial only makes sense in a business model with 2+ trucks . Let residential work build your brand and business , let the commercial work build the capital. The big jobs come with time in the game .

Ready to Invest in Marketing — What Actually Works?
About to invest more into marketing this year. If you were starting from scratch today (pressure washing), what are the top 1–3 marketing moves you’d focus on first to get consistent leads? (Google/LSA, FB ads, yard signs, door hangers, SEO, partnerships, etc.) Bonus: what would you avoid wasting money on? Appreciate any advice.

@Eric Umana I never had a great experience with fb ads . I dip heavy into Google specifically because the customer is ready to do business. All the other marketing plays are brand awareness which are more of long term plays . I would start with $1,000 and gradually work your way up as it gets busier. You can utilize Facebook without spending any money . Also ChatGPT can help with pointers on getting your SEO up to date . Hope this helps .
