@Bryan Burnett For production, I've also tried FL Studio & Reason. Both have come a LONG way since the early days. And both have their strengths. Fl Studio's workflow, templates, and midi grid are all amazing. Reason doubled-down on it's plugins, so it's got great expansions like Bassline Generator and more. Nonetheless, Ableton is the most complete DAW for production IMO. I've also used Adobe Audition & Sony Sound Force for tracking vocals. My short opinion is that both are cluttered and frankly trash. Wouldn't dare use them. If I'm in another vocalist session, I generally have to use ProTools but if it's just me and a producer, I only accept the session if we track in Logic Pro.
