The Start of the MFH Benetton B194
Since I’m now wrapping up the B194 project, I’m doing a few posts on what the process looked like along the way. I should have the car wrapped up in about a week or so, and then begins the editing process. I’m super excited to edit this one (which is unusual) and I think this will be my best video yet. If you’re interested in these types of kits please leave a comment below— I plan to fill the Classroom tab with a lot of educational content for building these!

@Hubert Pawlikowski They are a challenge, but one that grows on you lol. I find you get a sense of satisfaction from them that you don't get elsewhere, although it does come at a cost haha. That sounds very cool though - I need to do a quick video on handling the metal parts then, I feel like I mostly have it down to a science at this point. The big thing is investing in the magnetic tumbler - if you plan on basically ever doing more than one white metal kit it's well worth it.
Tamiya 1/20 Jordan 191
Here’s a project I just finished (well, sort of). The famous Jordan 191 driven by Michael Schumacher. It took me almost a year of work to finish this with many self-designed custom parts printed in resin including rotors with AP racing brakes, rear wing support, driver’s seat and some additional parts in the cockpit and the engine. I am planning to make it a full diorama - I am going to add mechanic figures, some garage tools, walls and led lights.

Wow Hubert, this thing really came out amazingly well, thank you for posting it! I love the way you have it displayed here, the concrete pit lane looks great. I love the custom work you did too, I want to revisit the 191 one day now that my CAD skills are better.
Welcome to Gold Medal Models!
I wanted to start a community that went above and beyond the typical Patreon offerings (nothing against them) that most Youtube channels have, and provide a space for community, live discussion, and resources for learning. When you join, I'd love if you made a post introducing yourself, who you are, and either what model you're currently working on or what you really want to work on next. If you go under the "classroom" tab, you'll see where you can access all of my free STL files - more of which are being added all of the time. Soon, you'll see resources for learning techniques, full builds, and even live group sessions coming up on the calendar. Let's make GMM the best modeling community on the internet.
