When I started this community, the goal was simple: help Black therapists build websites that help the right clients find and choose them. After working with therapists on their websites, I realized something important. The hardest part isn’t building the website. The hardest part is figuring out how to clearly explain what you do. So I’ve reorganized the community around the process that actually works: Brand Strategy → Messaging System → Website. You’ll start seeing the community evolve into Words & Websites for Therapists—a space focused on helping you clarify your brand, write your website, and build an online presence that attracts right-fit clients. Nothing is being taken away. Everything is simply being organized to make the process easier to follow. Next week I’ll be kicking off the first Brand Build Lab, a 7-day challenge where we’ll build your brand strategy together.
